The terrace offers unobstructed views of Hauzenberg and, on clear days, even the Alps.

Just a few minutes’ walk (approx. 500 m) along a scenic trail takes you to Freudensee, which is perfect for swimming in summer and ice-skating in winter.

Hiking and biking trails start right at the village.
Passau is only 15 minutes by car, with day trips to Austria and the Czech Republic easily accessible.
