Great little getaway spot! The lake was beautiful and the property is really well kept. Perfect location not far from several stores with everything you could need.

Very clean and private. Enjoyed being able to fish from more than one dock. Extremely useful to have a laundry. House was comfortable; owner provides thoughtful items. Feels like you are staying in a very remote area, yet convenient to store and cute antique mall just 5 min away!

The cabin is beautifully situated on an amazing property. It comes well stocked with all the essentials. Renee communicated very well, even offering us shelter during severe weather. They couldn’t have been kinder.

Renee was absolutely amazing! Such a kind and welcoming person. The place itself is beautiful, relaxing, and incredibly family-friendly. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, and everyone had an amazing time. The owners are so down-to-earth and genuinely care about making your experience special. They even took the kids on a boat ride, which created memories they’ll never forget. Stores and gas stations are also conveniently close by, which made everything even easier for our stay. They also have a grill and fire pit, which made the evenings even more enjoyable. You can truly feel the heart behind this place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, peaceful, and memorable getaway! Also, the kids were able to catch firefly’s. The kids wanted me to add that so everyone knows :).

This little cabin was exactly what we needed. We live and travel full time in our motorhome. We had to get our windshield replaced and needed to find a place to stay for 24 hrs. How lucky were we to find this cabin on a private 50 acre lake just 1.5 miles from Alpha Glass in Lathrop, MO. We spend most of our time outdoors, so my husband and I, as well as our Labrador, made use of the private lake and large patio. The host provided us with firewood and fishing pools. We ended our day watching a beautiful sunset next to the fire pit with a few cocktails while listening the wildlife around us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and more. The bed was very comfy and cozy! We highly recommend this little peace of paradise if you are looking for privacy, simple comforts and some time to enjoy the outdoors!

We had a great stay--it was the respite that we didn't know we needed! We wish we could have stayed longer. The property is very peaceful, and we loved sitting by the dock and also sitting on comfy chairs near the cabin watching the fireflies. The cabin is very clean and just enough space. You get all the comforts of home, but you feel like you are camping. We hope to come back!
