Winter at Manzano Mountain Retreat is beautifully simple. Cold nights invite deep rest, mornings arrive crisp and clear, and the vast New Mexico sky stretches endlessly overhead. This is a place to unplug, move at a gentler pace, and feel grounded by nature.
Set within the Manzano Mountains on 140 acres of orchards, meadows, and pine forest, the Pinetop Glamping Tent blends rustic adventure with thoughtful comfort. Spend your days exploring trails, visiting nearby historic sites like Quarai Ruins, or warming up by the firepit with a book and a hot drink. When night falls, stargazing becomes the main event.
Families enjoy meeting our miniature donkeys, Highland cows, peacocks, and ponies, while couples find quiet corners among the orchards to reconnect. Whether you’re seeking adventure or stillness, the land has a way of meeting you where you are.
Dining is part of the retreat experience. On weekends, enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet in our dining hall. Weekdays offer freshly prepared meals, and our onsite Mercantile is stocked daily with snacks, drinks, and grab-and-go options. In autumn, the orchards come alive with harvest traditions, cider pressing, and our favorite apple cider donuts.
What guests take home isn’t just photos, it’s a feeling. A lighter spirit, deeper connection, and memories made under wide-open skies.
