Allow us to introduce: SONNENWEG 17—the welcoming holiday home in a prime hillside location with a view of the lake, accommodating 4 people (+2 on a 130x198cm sofa bed). Guest bathroom, spa bathroom with a bathtub, private sauna, and an XXL shower area for a refreshing rinse after the sauna infusion. Two bedrooms with double or single beds—flexible and just the way you like it. A spacious living area with an electric fireplace and TV in the lounge, a chic kitchen with all the extras a chef needs for a cooking competition, and a dining table with the best views of Lake Diemelsee and the low mountain range await you. Mountain biking, boating, hiking, or hitting the cross-country ski trails… You can park your car right outside the door. You’ll always find a great spot on your private terrace or balcony. Deck chairs, a parasol, and more are ready and waiting. Wi-Fi is, of course, included so you can show the whole world how beautiful it is here…

For arrivals within 5 days, we accept only payments via real-time bank transfer. Completed in 2020, this holiday home is situated on a hillside directly above Lake Diemel. Within a 500-meter radius, you’ll find: a beach with a slide, a playground, boat rentals, the dock for the “MS Muffert” passenger ship, a lakeside promenade, numerous fishing spots, the starting point for the “Diemelsteig” hiking trail, the “Diemel” bike path, a beach volleyball court, an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a tourist information centre, a snack bar and restaurant, and a mini-golf course. The nearby town of Willingen (about 15 km away) is known for its ski resort with 17 km of slopes, 6 T-bar lifts, 2 chairlifts, and the “Ettelsberg” gondola; there is also a mountain bike park, a summer toboggan run, a go-kart and bowling centre, an indoor climbing gym, a lagoon-style water park, a wildlife park, a Ski World Cup ski jump, an ice rink, activities for children and wellness offerings, numerous events, clubs, restaurants, and much more. Winterberg (40 km) with a ski resort (28 km of slopes), a mountain bike park, a World Cup bobsleigh track, wellness offerings, and much more.

Great location, very close to the lake, lots of nice walking trails. At the end of September, it was extremely quiet and absolutely relaxing for us. The house is very cosy, and the sauna was a highlight for us. We’d love to come back!
