Set in an unspoiled holiday landscape characterised by wide beaches, picturesque cliffs, and idyllic coves, the Baltic Sea resort of Schönhagen—a district of Brodersby—is located directly on the Baltic Sea.
Schönhagen is situated in the north of the Schwansen Peninsula, which is surrounded by water on three sides. The Eckernförde Bay to the south, the open sea to the east, and the Schlei River to the north and west form its boundaries. Visitors to Schönhagen particularly love the approximately 1,000-meter-long beach, which seamlessly connects to the beach at Kappeln. To the south, the beach borders the cliffs. Following this impressive cliffside, you’ll reach the “Schwansener See” nature reserve in the south, a managed bird sanctuary. Here, between the beach and the dunes, reeds, and sparse forests, lies a habitat for a wide variety of birds, amphibians, and plants. To protect this diverse ecosystem, a walking and biking trail runs through the area at a respectful distance.

Throughout the year, this small holiday town offers a good programme of events—especially in the summer for families with children. Schönhangen is too small for a “real” promenade. Those who want to relax in peace can easily do without it.

In this idyllic setting, the Danish holiday home was built on a plot of land in the dunes.

The huge, southwest-facing panoramic windows on the front facade make this house something truly special. The furnishings are very comfortable and cosy.

Thanks to the hot tub and sauna, the house is an ideal holiday destination for any season. No matter whether it’s stormy, snowing, or sunny—it’s cosy by the fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub or sauna, and wonderfully simple to just lounge on the beautiful terrace near the sea in the summer.

The property is fenced in, which means the house is surrounded by a hedge and entrance gates. Dogs and small children can move around freely there.
