Ocean View Home w/ Private Spa - Sauna, Hot Tub, Cold Plunge, Sleeps 10
La Mer is an ocean view home set at the end of a quiet, dead-end street in Long Beach, Washington - a space designed for slower mornings, longer evenings, and time away that feels different from the moment you arrive.
From inside, take in wide views of the ocean, with the Discovery Trail just steps away, and a private outdoor spa designed for a slower rhythm and a shift in pace.
Highlights: - Ocean views framed by large picture windows - Private outdoor spa with custom cedar sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge - Direct access to the Discovery Trail, just beyond the door - Quiet setting at the end of a dead-end street - 5 bedrooms | sleeps up to 10 - Bedrooms selected for comfort and finished with organic linens - Dog-friendly, with a fenced-in yard, easy beach access, and room to run
The Space
La Mer’s open living area is centered around large picture windows that look out over the coastal landscape, bringing in natural light throughout the day. A fireplace anchors the space for slow evenings inside — whether you’re watching a storm roll in or winding down after time well spent on the beach.
The kitchen and dining area are designed for cooking, gathering, and lingering over meals, with a large dining table that comfortably seats 10, a Bosch induction cooktop, and everything you need to cook the way you would at home (or better).
Bedrooms are spacious and quiet, with views of the ocean and dunes beyond. Beds are finished with organic linens and mattresses selected for deeper, more restorative rest.
Everything here is designed to be used - not just looked at. You may find yourself watching the waves, a bald eagle pass by, or simply sitting still for longer than expected.
The Spa
Just off the deck, the private outdoor spa includes a custom-built cedar sauna, open-air hot tub, and cold plunge.
Move between heat and cold at your own pace — start your morning with the sauna, take a cold plunge, or unwind in the hot tub in the evening with the sound of the ocean in the background.
The sauna includes a small changing area with a shower for rinsing off between sessions.

About the host
Hosted by Cooper
We’re Cooper and Jason — partners in life, pickleball, and in Come Stay.
Before starting Come Stay, we were burnt out business attorneys who spent the last decade focused on our careers. The time finally came when we decided to build something that excited us and felt more aligned with how we wanted to live and spend our time.
Travel has always been a big part of our relationship, but 2020 was a turning point. We adopted our first dog, Winston, and the way we traveled shifted immediately — fewer flights, more road trips. We found ourselves searching for places that felt calm and restorative, well-designed, and, of course, dog-friendly. Places where you could slow down, spend time outside, and reconnect — to nature and to yourself.
That’s what we’ve aimed to create with La Mer — and with every Come Stay space.
Why they chose this property
The location of La Mer stood out to us immediately.
Set at the end of a quiet, dead-end street, it feels calm and removed — with ocean views and the sound of waves a constant — yet still only a short drive or bike ride into town, and about 30 minutes to Astoria.
It’s a balance that’s hard to find: nature, quiet, and beauty paired with access to great food, coffee, and beer — plus off-leash adventures nearby. It’s what made us realize this was the one in Long Beach.
With the Discovery Trail just beyond the house, it’s easy to step out for a walk at any time. And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need — easy.
We spend our time here with slow mornings, long walks with the dogs, and evenings watching the sun set into the ocean — or a storm roll in.
What makes this property unique
La Mer was designed for how we like to travel — and how we want to feel when we do.
The outdoor spa is a central part of the experience — a place to settle into a slower rhythm. Mornings might start with the dry heat of the sauna or a cold plunge after a run on the Discovery Trail, and evenings might end in the hot tub under the stars.
Just as important is how La Mer sits in its surroundings. It feels open to the landscape, with the ocean always present, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and private.
Inside, we’ve focused on the details so La Mer feels as comfortable and well-equipped as your own home — if not more so. And for those traveling with dogs, the fenced yard, nearby beach access, and space to run were part of the plan from the beginning.
