The picturesque "Zwischen den Wäldern" scenic loop runs right past the property. Built in 1988, the house is located on the edge of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, nestled among large trees in the charming village of Allenbach. The village has excellent amenities: a bakery, a restaurant, an auto repair shop, and a hair salon are all within about 200 metres. A stay on our property, which spans over 2,000 square metres, promises pure relaxation.

You’ll relax in the charming low-mountain landscape of Allenbach, about 500 metres above sea level. Just 6 kilometres away lies the Erbeskopf, which, at 816 metres above sea level, serves as the gateway to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and offers breathtaking views and panoramic vistas. The summer toboggan run, the adventure playground, and the high ropes course are famous far beyond the region. The resort has also made a name for itself as a winter sports centre.

Just 15 kilometres away lies the world-famous gemstone metropolis of Idar-Oberstein. The entire region is characterised by the design and crafting of gemstones. You can also tour a gemstone cutting workshop here.

In addition, there are other sights to discover in town, such as the castle built in 1528, the historic mill, and the historic blacksmith shop.

Since the Nahe and Moselle wine regions are only about 25 kilometres away, they’re also worth a visit. An absolute must is a visit to the Roman city of Trier, Germany’s oldest city, located about 45 minutes away.

Upon entering the house, you’ll find yourself in a large entryway with a coat closet, which provides access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, staircase, guest bathroom, and utility room with a washing machine. The living room, together with the dining room, measures about 45 square metres and features a wood-burning stove, a large flat-screen TV, a cosy upholstered seating area, and a large dining table. From the living room, you can step out onto two outdoor terraces, which are perfect for relaxing on nice days. The kitchen is equipped with a pantry, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. A dining table is also provided. From the kitchen, you can access the outdoor area at the gable end, which features small ponds for ornamental fish and a covered grill.

On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with double beds and a children’s room with a fold-out bed for two children. When the beds are folded up, an open space is created that’s perfect for playing. If needed and upon request, this room can also be furnished with two beds for adults. Both bedrooms open onto a balcony offering a great view of Allenbach and the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. Opposite the bedrooms is a bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, and bathtub.

The holiday home features new furniture in all rooms and is equipped with high-quality amenities. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

A special highlight is the approximately 2,000-square-meter outdoor area, which is framed by shrubs and trees. In addition to the ponds and the barbecue area, there is a large lawn for relaxing. About 1,600 square metres of the property are completely fenced in, so dogs can roam freely.
