Enjoy your holiday on Juist!

From the balcony of our lovely penthouse apartment "Lee" (built in 2017) in the "Achterhus," you can already see the North Sea!

This light-filled holiday apartment features two separate bedrooms, a balcony, a comfortable living/dining area, and a bathroom. Stylish furniture in subtle colours, hardwood floors, and indirect lighting create an atmosphere where you’ll feel completely at home.

You can relax wonderfully, for example, in the open living area, which is equipped with a large corner couch and a modern TV (cable connection & Smart TV). Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing the web on your smartphone.

The kitchen, integrated into the living area, is fully equipped and offers convenient options for preparing your own meals, including an electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.

One of the two separate bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), while the other features a cosy double alcove (180 x 200 cm). A ladder leads up to the attic, where you’ll find a loft with another double alcove for two people (1.40 x 200 cm; please note that the narrow and steep ladder is only suitable for adults and older children—see photos—use at your own risk).

Additional comfort awaits you in the modern bathroom with a heated towel rack and a walk-in shower. A hair dryer is provided as standard.

You can darken the skylights from the outside, ensuring your room stays pleasantly cool in the summer. On colder days, underfloor heating provides cosy warmth.

General information:
You’re welcome to use the washing machine and dryer, of course. Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment. Pets are not allowed. The building has an lift.

Sun, beach, and fresh North Sea air—the island of Juist is one of Germany’s most popular holiday destinations. Here, you’ll feel as though time stands still for a few days. Horse-drawn carriage rides along the beach, bike tours through the dune landscape, or leisurely walks guarantee a wonderful, relaxing experience.

From the “Achterhus,” you can reach Juist’s beautiful sandy beach and the promenade in just a few minutes (about 6 minutes on foot, about 2 minutes by bike). A wide range of sports activities offers a nice change of pace from relaxing in a beach chair.

The idyllic island centre, with its cosy cafés, restaurants, and small shops, is also just a few minutes’ walk away. Leisure activities such as the island cinema, the seawater adventure pool, and the carriage museum are also located very close to the house.
