Holler's End, at the "head of the holler" but just 4.5 miles from Whitesburg
Welcome to Holler's End, our cozy time capsule at the "head of the holler". The stars are beautiful out by the fire pit away from the city lights. Birdsong, the creek and an occasional crow from our neighbor's rooster are all you will hear. This home was constructed around a log cabin built in the mid-1800s. We removed layers of walls to expose the cabin in an inside room. You'll find artifacts and newspaper articles from the 1800s that we found inside the walls as we remodeled and a scrapbook describing what we found. It has been updated with WiFi, streaming services and a fully stocked coffee bar. While it is only 4.5 miles from Whitesburg, the last 2.3 miles are on a one-lane road. It has 3 bedrooms, including a queen bed, two full beds. and two futons upstairs for extra guests. The bathroom offers a shower and hair dryer for convenience. With heating and air conditioning, the space stays enjoyable no matter the season. If that sounds good to you, come sit a spell at Holler's End.

Descriptions were right on. Loved the preservation of Log home and the artifacts on display. Lots of room. Good location to town and activities.Enjoyed early mornings and evenings Birdwatching from back porch, My Merlin app picked 15 different species of bids at one time.
