Garbage disposal has to be plugged in under the sink. Washer dryer inoperable and had to take wash to an other property near by. Fireplace could not be used. Barbecue had not been cleaned which created a giant flare up. Never talked to a live person when promised attention to the problems.

Very disappointing rental — would not recommendThis was one of the most disappointing home rentals we have experienced. The property was simply not in a condition we would consider acceptable. The house was not clean and had numerous issues: WiFi was not functioning, the fireplace was inoperable, and the washing machine & garbage disposals did not work. The sliding shower doors would not properly latch to the track and repeatedly fell off. Kitchen dishes and glasses were dirty and had to be washed before use. The kitchen was also not adequately equipped for a group of 8.The WiFi issue was reported on the first night and wasn’t resolved until the morning of our third day. This was especially frustrating because it was opening weekend of college football and our group had planned to watch a game together at the house. Without WiFi, we had no TV and were forced to find somewhere else to watch. Finding a place for a large group with kids at the last minute was extremely disruptive to our plans.Issues reported to the rental agency were either ignored or took an unreasonably long time to resolve. This wasn’t a case of one or two minor things going wrong; there were enough basic cleanliness, maintenance, and management issues that it fundamentally affected our experience.Honestly, check in was the smoothest part!Black Butte has plenty of beautiful, well-maintained rental homes. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for both a property and management company.

Matthew, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us, even though it was not what we strive for. It’s disheartening to hear that the condition of the home did not meet your expectations, especially regarding cleanliness and the functionality of key amenities. We understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with the WiFi issues during such an important weekend for your group. We take your feedback seriously, and we are committed to addressing these concerns with our team to ensure that future guests have a much smoother experience. It’s important to us that our guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, and we regret that we fell short during your stay. We’re glad to hear that check-in went smoothly, but we know that’s just the beginning of a great stay. Thank you for your insights, and we hope you find a rental that better suits your needs in the future.
