The Hüs Sanskiin “Goodshenk” holiday rental in the Friesenhaus Sanskiin is a cosy holiday rental for up to four people, located in Nebel / Süddorf, nestled near the sea and surrounded by nature. With 60 m² of living space and a total of three rooms, it features two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a comfortable living room. The living area is furnished with a sofa and a dining table and is directly connected to the living room via the open kitchen—ideal if you’d like to cook together and spend time together while on holiday. Amenities include a TV (digital), Wi-Fi, a radio, and a modern kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and everything you need for daily life: dishes and cutlery, kitchen utensils, and tea towels. A washing machine and dryer (shared use) ensure household convenience, and you’ll also find other practical items such as an iron, vacuum cleaner, and a dustbin.
The private terrace with a view of the garden is particularly lovely—it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air. A grill is also available for warm evenings. The house’s garden also invites you to linger, while a private car park with a space right next to the property makes your arrival convenient. The holiday rental is a smoke-free property and features a walk-in shower, a toilet, a hair dryer, and a mirror. Heating is provided so you can relax comfortably even outside the peak season.
Its location is ideal thanks to its short distances: shopping is only about 50 m away, the beach is about 800 m away, and the sea is about 1100 m away. Public transport is also accessible within about 20 m. If you’re arriving by ferry, plan on a walk of about 3,000 m to the ferry terminal.
Children are welcome here: There is a high chair and a cot. Pets are also allowed, though limited to a maximum of two animals. Overall, “Goodshenk” is an excellent choice for families and anyone looking to spend a carefree holiday on the sandy beach and in a peaceful setting between the village and the forest.
Property:
This traditional Frisian house with a thatched roof, typical of the island, was built in 1867. The main part of the house still stands today. Starting in 1996, a modern addition was built behind the house. This created a total of seven holiday apartments under the thatched roof.
The family-friendly furnishings delight the mums, while the large playground with a swing and play equipment delights the little ones. And the barbecue area, complete with a large swivel grill and a pavilion, awaits Dad.
Sheltered from the wind behind the house, you’ll find a large terrace with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and beach chairs (April–October). In the huge garden, there are several additional seating areas, beach chairs, a daybed, a property-wide scavenger hunt, and the “Sundowner Lounge” with a beautiful view across the fields towards the sunset. There are also various games and activities for children and adults: a giant trampoline, a barbecue area, the throwing and skill game “Corn Hole,” a swing, a sandpit, and Amrum’s first outdoor Scrabble!
Another attraction in the garden is the “Hasenbaudraufschaubau”: a spacious, covered seating area with a hanging swing, electrical socket, and a working stove.
In the hallway leading to the “Goodshenk,” “Eerdglüper,” and “Driiwfholt” apartments, a library and game room are available to all guests, young and old. You can borrow books, audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, and board games for the whole family here free of charge.
In the building’s basement, there is a wide variety of children’s toys: a Brio train set, a car mat, sand toys, building blocks, and wooden garden toys, all of which are available to all guests. You’ll also find a coin-operated washing machine, a coin-operated dryer, an ironing board, and an iron for shared use.
Pets are welcome at Friesenhaus Sanskiin.
One parking space is available for each apartment.
