Gated community for added security and guests have access to a resort style amenity center with pool, fire pit, and putt-putt golf, plus a community dock, boat ramp, and assigned boat slip for easy lake days.

The house is beautiful and in great condition! The kitchen was well stocked other than dish soap and the bathrooms were well stocked other than facial tissues. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of extra plush bedding. There was only enough laundry soap for one load, so you may need to bring your own. There was a great supply of pool towels. Adding flyswatters might be nice in order to help with the bug situation. We were good about closing doors but being so near the water kept them around pretty much nonstop. The patio furniture needed a good cleaning to remove cobwebs and gnats. The amenities center is amazing and where we spent a lot of our time. We did encounter a snake in the restroom, so keep your eyes open!The hostess was fantastic about communicating with us and answering any questions we had.Overall it’s a great property and I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We traveled to Corsicana for a baseball tournament and decided to make a long weekend of it. The house was perfect - our boys loved the amenity center, especially the pool and putt putt golf, and all the guys (my dad especially) enjoyed fishing in the pond. The house is well stocked with plenty of towels and basic kitchen necessities. Plenty of blankets and sheets. Visited in June, and even though Susan warned us about the outdoor bugs, I wasn’t fully prepared for how bad they would be in the evening. They are definitely doing all they can to minimize it. This home is one of a handful in this new development, so hopefully as more homes are built, it will get better! I would definitely book again if we ever find ourselves in Corsicana again!
