Portland has a thriving food scene and this apartment puts you right in the middle of it all! We walked to dinner, the pier, and the arts district. There is easy access to the ferry, too. The host gave us a detailed document after booking which not only clearly outlined the logistics of the apartment, but was also a fantastic resource for the area that included parking and restaurant recommendations. The booking and checking in process was super easy, as was entry/access to the apartment. While we didn't have intentions of using the tv, we had a fun impromptu movie night and enjoyed the very large screen. We appreciated how very clean and modern the apartment was (cleaner than some hotels I have stayed in). The host was kind, gracious, and unintrusive. Since the location puts you in the middle of the Old Port, know that some evening street noise from those out enjoying summer cocktails will come with it. Graciously, the host left complementary ear plugs in each bedroom. Most of the time it was pretty quiet. We've stayed in our share of Vrbo (and similar) places and, while this host may be new to the scene, this little spot delivered as advertised. Thank you, JT!
