Our newly built, accessible 5-star holiday homes, “Wegwarte***** & Pommerbach*****,” are at ground level and accessible without steps. They are situated away from the noise of trains and traffic on the Mosel Highway (B49), are modernly equipped, and feature floor heating, a controlled ventilation system for a comfortable indoor climate, and floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the rooms with light. The spacious bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower and an infrared sauna, will pamper you after a day of physical activity. The electric roller shutters can darken the rooms at night, if desired. External blinds in the living area keep the heat out in summer without darkening the room too much.<br>In addition to the open-concept kitchen, the living area features a large smart TV with a soundbar. The soundbar allows you to play your own music via Bluetooth. You have free access to our Wi-Fi.<br>The spacious terrace has direct access from the living area as well as from the bedroom. The terrace is protected from wind and rain on three sides when needed, making it usable even on cool fall days. On warm days, you can open the sliding glass wall. <br>Each of our holiday homes features one double bedroom and one single bedroom.<br>In the shared utility room, one washing machine and one dryer are available free of charge for each holiday home. <br><br>There are six bike racks in the garage. It also features six electrical sockets and storage space for your e-bike chargers. You can lock your bikes there if needed. This ensures they’re safely stored. <br><br>A wood-fired grill is available.<br><br><br>Surroundings:<br>Enjoy the diverse landscape of the Eifel and Moselle regions—whether on a road bike, MTB, or e-MTB. Our “Traumpfade” trails and the Moselsteig also invite you to go hiking. Several award-winning hiking trails are located right nearby. <br>In our exclusive holiday homes in Brieden, you’ll find the peace and relaxation of the Eifel. But Brieden’s close proximity to the Moselle also makes it a particularly interesting destination.<br>In our guest folder, which we’ll send you after you book, you’ll find plenty of ideas and suggestions for your holiday.<br><br><br>Special features:<br>The area around Brieden offers opportunities for hiking, biking, swimming, running, and much more. We’ve mapped out many bike tours for you on Komot—whether on a road bike or mountain bike—to suit a wide range of needs. Many routes take you to the most beautiful viewpoints, such as the view from the Eifel into the Moselle Valley, a visit to Eltz Castle, the town of Monreal, and more. We intentionally use paths away from traffic through the forests of the Eifel and the Moselle region (free of charge). Guided road bike tours are available upon request (not included in the price).<br><br><br>Other recreational options<br>The “Moselbad Cochem” water park offers something for all ages, no matter the weather. During the warmer months, in addition to the outdoor pool in Cochem (50-meter lane), the natural swimming holes at the Maare in Schalkenmehren or the Pulvermaar in Gillenfeld are great spots for swimming.<br>From Cochem, you can book a boat tour on the Moselle or take a trip to the little village of Beilstein. <br>For motorsports enthusiasts, the Nürburgring is not far away, and you’ll find a climbing garden near Mayen. The “Klotti” amusement park is nearby. The “Geierlay” suspension bridge is one of the longest in Europe and is only 22 km away. The cities of Trier and Koblenz are well worth a visit. There’s plenty to discover around Brieden.
