On an excursion to the north, you can experience the rauks of Byrum, a troll forest and the Lådbilslandet amusement park. To the south is Öland's animal and amusement park, the restored historic Eketorp fortress, the Alvaret and Ottenby. Öland is also an island of artists and craftspeople, with shops and studios in several places.
