By far the best time of the year—your farm holiday. Guests will find a temporary home in just three holiday apartments, which have been lovingly renovated in recent years. All apartments are on the ground floor and feature well-equipped kitchens. In front of the entrance is a terrace with sturdy patio furniture, and there are plenty of lounge chairs available for your use. The bread roll delivery service right to your apartment door ensures a great start to your day. The Haberlhof has been family-owned for over 350 years. Sustainability has been a way of life on this agricultural and forestry farm for generations. A wood chip heating system, fuelled by wood from the farm, provides cosy warmth. Electricity is supplied by the solar panel system on the barn roof, and fresh mountain spring water is a treat for the soul. The farm has been managed ecologically for centuries and has been operating according to Naturland standards for over 20 years. You’ll find this child-friendly holiday farm in the small mountain village of Eggersberg, at the foot of the Osser, in the picturesque Lamer Winkel region. Helping out is a top priority for our young guests. Petting, feeding, taking the calves out to pasture in the morning during the summer and bringing them back in the evening, making fresh beds for all the animals, and, of course, horseback riding. From Monday through Friday morning, after barn chores, guided rides for beginners and trail rides on the two draft horses for advanced riders are offered—riding is part of the farm experience and is free of charge! Plenty of play equipment—including a swing, slide, trampoline, sandpit, pedal cars, a playhouse, and a play barn with foosball, a ping-pong table, art supplies, and board games—ensures there’s never a dull moment. And what could be better than ending a day of holiday around the campfire with bread on a stick? A highlight and a proud keepsake for our little farmers is the “Stable Diploma.” Those who help out diligently will pass the Haberlhof quiz at the end of their holiday and be ceremoniously awarded the Stable Diploma. Baby equipment: cot, safety rail, blackout blinds, night light, high chair, children’s cutlery and dishes, changing table, step stool, and toilet seat; patio furniture, lounge chairs. This apartment will be renovated in November. Stylish new furniture made of solid spruce with black handles and a dark kitchen worktop, crafted by our carpenter, is on its way. Stay tuned! The price includes all utilities, hand and bath towels, bed and kitchen linens, Wi-Fi, toddler amenities, a cot, safety rail, blackout blinds, night light, high chair, a hand blender, children’s cutlery and dishes, a changing table and pad, a step stool, and a toilet seat. Fresh milk is also provided daily. Horseback riding and campfires with bread on a stick are available from Easter through November. A “stable certificate” for our little farmers, a farm tour, and helping out in the barn are sure to make the kids happy. The visitor’s tax is charged separately. Check-in is available from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. One dog is allowed for a fee of 7.00 EUR per day.
