Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
It was a very poor experience from beginning to end. The check-in was very awkward. As we just arrived and were quite tired and just wanted to check in but, the front desk clerk was very distracted by his manager who was trying to deal with some other situation. This is fine, but they didn’t even have the courtesy to ask me to please be patient, or say, “we will be with you in a minute”. But basically they ignored me. This was just the beginning of troubles.Next, walking down the hallway, there was a strong acrid smell, possibly urine, or old wine spills, but it definitely did not smell clean or sanitary. There was large piece of cardboard just outside our room door, with a traffic cone over it - apparently covering a spill or something. The room was ok, but very dated - no USB charging ability. The kitchenette was not well stocked - only one bowl, no cooking pans or utensils. Finally, it looks like this place was used to house people who were either on some kind of social assistance or other government subsidy. All in all, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.
