Our “Fernblick Pfalz Vacation Rental (with Sauna)” in the idyllic wine-growing village of Weyher in the Palatinate is located on the outskirts of town, right next to the Palatinate Forest and in close proximity to the vineyards of the Southern Wine Route. The surrounding area is home to other charming wine-growing villages—such as Rhodt unter Rietburg, Burrweiler, Gleisweiler, and Sankt Martin—that are well worth exploring. Several attractions (including Villa Ludwigshöhe and Hambach Castle) are easily accessible, but above all, we recommend hikes in the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve—with its many cozy huts—as well as bike rides along the Wine Route. In the afternoon and evening, you can enjoy wine testings directly at the winery or a romantic dinner at a winegrower’s inn or right among the vineyards.<br><br>Via a separate entrance to the “Ferienhaus Pfälzer Wald Weyher” located below, you can reach the vacation apartment’s large balcony via an open staircase and a spiral staircase. Take a seat on our comfortable furniture and enjoy the expansive views of the Southern Palatinate and the Rhine Valley. See the Rietburg ruins high up in the Palatinate Forest and catch a glimpse of Villa Ludwigshöhe from the side. <br>Through the balcony door, you’ll enter the large living-dining area in the attic apartment. The cozy sloping ceilings are punctuated by large windows, some of which extend all the way to the floor. A comfortable sofa bed (approx. 140x200 cm sleeping surface) invites you to relax. The large living and dining area also features a dining table for 4 people and a full kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove, oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker (Bialetti coffee maker, Nespresso capsule machine, and drip coffee maker), and toaster. The highlight of the room is a sauna that can accommodate 2 people.<br>A small hallway leads to the naturally lit bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower, as well as a washing machine (older model). The adjacent bedroom features a solid wild oak double bed (180x200 cm) and a large built-in closet. The window overlooks the Palatinate Forest—very quiet. The bedroom and living room can be largely darkened using blackout curtains or roller shades. (Note: The sofa bed is located in the living room and not in the bedroom, as is incorrectly and permanently displayed in the overview on Vrbo!)<br>A travel crib is available free of charge in the built-in closet for children < 2 years of age, as well as a high chair. Children under 2 years of age can stay for free (please let us know in advance). They do not need to be listed in the system when booking. However, please bring your own crib linens and bedding.<br>Towels, bed linens, and dish towels are provided for registered guests. Please bring sauna towels and bathrobes if needed.<br><br>Please note:<br>- Access requires climbing 2 flights of stairs (the property is on a slope)<br>- No pets!<br>- No parties or bachelor/bachelorette parties!<br>- Residential area only. Please be quiet! Quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.<br>- Children welcome!<br>- The garden of the Pfälzer Wald Weyher vacation home is intended for the exclusive use of the vacation home’s guests and not for the guests of the vacation rental listed here. Therefore, no garden access, but there is a very nice balcony (almost like a terrace...).
