Our holiday rental is located on the upper floor of the Peenehuus Cafe'& mehr in the beautiful town of Neukalen, right on the harbour. Discover just how easy and relaxing a holiday can be. Nature, tranquility, and cosiness—you can enjoy all of this with us right on the “Amazon of the North,” a stunning river landscape in the heart of Mecklenburg.
The holiday rental consists of a single room measuring approximately 35 square metres, including a kitchenette and dining table. The bathroom area is located on the ground floor, one flight of stairs down, and is separated by gender.
It is a shared area for which you’ll receive a key, ensuring your privacy is maintained.
The holiday rental was completely renovated and refurnished in October 2021.
There is also a newly built café on the ground floor. There, you can enjoy a meal or simply relax in a beach chair while taking in the harbour atmosphere. The proximity to Lake Kummerow invites you to explore nature on foot or by boat. You can also reach the Baltic Sea by boat across the lake along the Peene River. By car, the drive takes about an hour.
You can go fishing right on-site in the harbour area. Neukalen has a sandy swimming beach on the Peene River.
There are plenty of hiking trails around the lake and in the forest.
