Housed in a heritage building dating back to 1639 — originally constructed by Cardinal Richelieu as part of the Palais Royal estate — the residence carries centuries of history within its walls. Classified as a historic monument, it is a true gem of Parisian heritage, believed to have once served as a residence of the young Louis XIV himself.

Fully renovated to marry its historic grandeur with contemporary elegance, the apartment offers a rare combination of space, character, and comfort. Sweeping views over the Palais Royal and the Louvre set the scene from the moment you arrive. The living spaces are generous and inviting: two salons — one overlooking the charming Place de Valois, the other offering a glass-roofed lounge with views of the Royal Palace — alongside a stately dining room with a large marble table seating 12 guests, and a fully equipped kitchen ready to meet every culinary need.

The apartment features five bedrooms plus a convertible living space, making it ideal for up to 10 guests and accommodating a maximum of 12. Two bedrooms benefit from private en-suite bathrooms — one with a freestanding bathtub, the other with a whirlpool bath — while the remaining three bedrooms share three well-appointed bathrooms and two separate WCs. The convertible living room can host an additional two guests via a sofa bed, and a single guest via a sleeper chair.

Every comfort has been considered throughout. Guests enjoy air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, a washer-dryer, television, safe, and five-star bedding with full bath and bed linen provided. The kitchen is equipped with induction cooking plates, a combined microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine, water boiler, toaster, and all necessary cookware. Toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are supplied, along with a hair dryer. A baby cot and high chair are also available upon request.

The apartment is for residential use only — parties, gatherings, events, and professional shoots are strictly prohibited. Quiet hours apply from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., smoking is not permitted inside the building, and only registered guests with verified ID are granted access. Additional cleaning or repair fees may be applied in the event of non-compliance with house rules.
