Our weekend getaway was perfect! The kids had a great time in the game room downstairs and we had a perfect retreat upstairs. I loved the private balcony in the mornings, listening to birds while I had my coffee. It was bigger than I had planned but having more space was so worth it! No fighting over bathrooms like in the smaller cabins we’ve stayed in. We first booked Sunday night only, but when I reached out to the host she gave us a great rate to add Saturday night too! The drive there was great- no crazy mountains or steep driveways either. It has the privacy that we wanted while still being close to restaurants & hiking and most importantly in a safe area! We’re booking our fall trip now to stay again & enjoy the changing leaves.

Cabin inside was very nice. Not a view here but that didn't stop us from booking it. We were pleased with cleanliness.

My husband and I live in Tampa with our six children, and travel has always been an important part of our family life. With kids ranging in age from 3 to 23, planning vacations can be challenging, which is why we appreciate destinations like Blue Ridge that offer something for everyone. We have long preferred short-term rental homes over hotels because they give our large family the comfort, space, and flexibility we need.

We chose to own a short-term rental because we love traveling and wanted to help other families create meaningful memories of their own.

Why they chose this property

We were drawn to the neighborhood’s seclusion, privacy, and peaceful setting, where everyone has room to relax. The gated entrance adds a sense of safety and security, and the large lots give each home plenty of space.

After staying in rentals where early-morning rooster calls made it hard to unwind, we especially value how quiet and restful this location feels.

What makes this property unique

The location feels wonderfully secluded, yet restaurants, entertainment, and grocery stores are just a short drive away—offering the best of both worlds.
