With this traditional Westerwald greeting, we welcome guests to our holiday apartment right in the heart of Hachenburg’s “good living room”—the Old Market Square!

Enjoy your break from everyday life with hiking, biking, strolling, or a visit to the nearby Landscape Museum. The outdoor pool and the cinema are also within walking distance of your home away from home in the heart of the historic city centre area.

The WesterwaldSteig trail leads right through the Old Market—past the Lion Fountain, which gives our holiday rental its name!

On the south-facing balcony that belongs to the apartment, you can enjoy the sun when the weather is nice—or relax with a good book in the reading chair of the cosy studio, which you can reach via a spiral staircase from the bright and open-concept living room!

The apartment’s bathroom is very generously equipped with a tub, shower, toilet, bidet, and two sinks, and upon arrival, a small welcome gift awaits you in the kitchen alongside the ready-to-use coffee maker!
