It was clean and very spacious. I had a couple of questions and Karen responded immediately. It's a great place to stay, close to Mt Ida and all the crystal mines.

Thanks Lisa, Woodland Adventure is quite a large space. Hope y'all found some good crystals. Thanks again for pointing out a couple of things I need to change.
This home away from home is exactly that. The house and property was immaculate! The place is inviting as well as charming. The host was very communicative and helpful. For us it was perfect. If it was for sale I would jump on it in a heartbeat. It was close to the first stop on our vacation route. There was live folk music in town and the Mexican food place there was surprisingly good. The river wasn't far so we could fish. If you are passing thru and want to stay in story i highly recommend this place!

About the host
Hosted by Karen Hamilton
I have lived in Montgomery County my entire life. I grew up on an animal farm with cattle, swine and poultry. When I drove Hwy 27 N to college, I would pass by a lot of beautiful places but I was always drawn to the Sweet Home neighborhood. Twenty years later I would call it my home. For almost 20 years, my husband and I have been working on our little farm and at our automotive parts store. I am a retired teacher and volunteer at our local museum and art gallery.
Why they chose this property
When I was driving to college, I thought the Sweet Home area was so beautiful. 20 years later my husband and I were lucky to have the opportunity to buy some of that land. Woodland Adventure is the last piece to our puzzle.
What makes this property unique
Even though we are adjacent to Hwy 27 N it is quite peaceful here.
