Our holiday home, located on the site of a former farm, was completed in 2003 and has since been renovated. The apartment features bright, modern furnishings, a kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and more. The spacious bedroom offers a beautiful view of the forest and also provides a cosy spot for reading and relaxing. The spacious children’s room features a loft bed and a junior bed, as well as a play/sleep cave under the loft bed. Toys and board games for all ages are available. Travel cots and high chairs are also provided for our guests. In the large garden and on the patio, you’ll find patio furniture, lounge chairs, a grill, and more. A washing machine and dryer are available for our guests in the utility room. A small playground for children with a sandpit and swings is open to everyone. You can explore the diverse surroundings on the excellently marked bike trails. In the apartments, you’ll find a wide selection of informational materials about Neuenburg, the Frisian Wehde, and the North Sea coast. We’re happy to provide tips on which destinations are particularly worth visiting. Perhaps a trip to the beer town of Jever or a day trip to one of the seven islands. A visit to the “School Museum” or a guided tour through the moor. We’re happy to help you organise these activities. A popular destination is the city of Wilhelmshaven with its beautiful Südstrand beach and the JadeWesterPort. A day in Dangast is especially popular—every guest must try the legendary rhubarb cake at the old Kurhaus. Nestled between primeval forest and sandy beach, our holiday home is located on a former farm in the Friesische Wehde holiday region. In and around the Friesische Wehde, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your free time. Well-marked bike routes, such as the Friesische Heerweg, wind through our picturesque towns of Neuenburg, Zetel, and Bockhorn. Inline skaters will also find plenty to enjoy here. Thanks to its central location between Oldenburg, Wilhelmshaven, Bad Zwischenahn, and Jever, many nearby destinations are easily accessible. Would you like to get married? You can do so at Neuenburg Castle.<br><br>Even more excursions: Why not visit the “Spijök” Curiosity Museum at Varel Harbour, where you’ll hear plenty of sailor’s tall tales? Neuenburg Castle is worth a visit; the Rauchkatten grounds and the idyllic park invite you to take a stroll. Afterwards, you can enjoy a cup of coffee at the 140-year-old Rutteler Mill. Visit the National Park Centre in Dangast, the Franz Radziwill House in Dangast, the local history museum, and the Varel Windmill with its local history collection (one of the largest mills in Germany). Take the “Etta von Dangast” from Dangast Harbour to the lighthouse and the seal rookeries. Just outside Neuenburg, there’s another beautiful windmill in Ruttel that’s still in operation.
