Mooi, ruim appartement in rustige omgeving

Zeer centraal gelegen, net en schoon appartement met 4 terrassen met ligbedden en vrij uitzicht, deels op zee. We waardeerden de ruime woonkamer met (schotel) TV. En de meer dan complete keuken met vaatwasser, oven, magnetron en wasmachine. Heerlijke bedden en comfortabele badkamers. En dat alles met een zwembad naast het appartement, het strand op 5 minuten en het centrum van Estepona op 10 minuten afstand. Zeer behulpzame en aardige eigenaar. Aanrader!!

Oke was ons verblijf in dit degelijk ingerichte huis en resort. Wij waren in het naseizoen en we troffen een zeer rustig resort aan. Leuke zwembaden en strand dicht bij (wel een drukke straat via rotonde oversteken). Kortom we hebben een paar mooie dagen gehad.

A lovely apartment situated in a nice neighbourhood, a nice quiet pool next to the apartment. Also if your looking to eat out there is lots of places 5 min drive away in Puerto duquesa or Puerto estepona.

this is the second time I have rented this apartment for 3 months . very roomy for guests. although only 2 of us, some family visited and at the most we had 5 people. beds are comfortable, kitchen easy, even when a few people are working there. Jon (the manager's husband) fixed some things while we were there. there are nice loungers outside on the terraces, good for sunning and reading. you can see the sea from 3 of the terraces, there is a nice terrace in the front with walls that block the wind. that is good for the months we were there ..Jan. Feb. March. The town of Estepona is a short drive away. Mercadona (grocery store)is even closer. 40 minutes to Gibraltar and after that comes Tarifa (the drive there is nothing but gorgeous), and you can take the FRS ferry to Tangier, Morocco. The owner bought a vacuum for the place while we were there, because it is a large apartment and difficult to sweep the entire place with a broom. No dryer just a rack to hang laundry. duvet covers can take 3 days to dry. old refrigerator, a few more things that over 3 months can be frustrating. I didn't like the heating situation. But, nice tv and wifi good. all in all our love of Spain trumps it all.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped for a very comfortable stay. The grounds were really nice with a selection of pools for different moods. A car was essential to allow easy access to the big choice of shops, restaurants and other amenities a short distance along the coast in both directions.

This place is a great choice for your holiday. The resort is well located between Estepona and Duquesa offering a great choice of places to go in either direction. It’s an established resort meaning that the properties are well laid out with lots of greenery. The resort staff work hard to ensure that the gardens are maintained and the 7 pools are looked after. The apartment has a great position with views all around; to the front, hills, where some mornings a local shepherd tends to his flocks; to the back, the driving range belonging to the health centre; and from the top rooftop you can see the sea in the distance. Inside, it offers everything you need. The living room has great leather sofas, big enough for someone to sleep on if needed, and comes with Internet and Apple TV. (The WiFi also works from the nearest swimming pool!) The kitchen is equipped with all utensils making it easy to cook most meals. The bedrooms are all very comfortable; the master has a fantastic en-suite and the first floor twin bedroom has a great private balcony with a south facing evening view. Can’t fault it.

Amazing holiday!!

We stayed in July for a family holiday and loved it! The apartment is very spacious and perfect for us 4 adults, a 2year old and a 5month old! All the stairs had baby gates on which was great for our toddler and they happily provided 2 cots and a high chair for us. Niel was really helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had before the holiday, Jackie met us at the apartment and was on hand if we needed anything whilst we were out there. The complex is really well kept and everyone is friendly. There are so many pools to choose from, we liked the one with the pool bar as well as the one by the country club as it had a little kids splash pool. There was also a small kids play area beside another pool which kept our son entertained. There is a lovely restaurant at the end of the road and the pool bar has snacks during the day but then more choice in the evening. You do need a car if you want more choice, most nights we would go 5min drive to Estepona Marina where there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars! Alternatively, Duquesa is in the other direction. We had such an amazing holiday and would defiantly return!

there were every thing you may need for a holiday! air condition, washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen stuff, loads of towels, cool box, chairs, and many other things that I can not remember. free parking just in front of the building! swimming pool just few steps away. Wonderful! as there was only one pic of one room, I was afraid maybe the other rooms are not good. But all rooms were in a very good condition and separate air condition for each floor.

Well equipped apartment

We stayed as a family group in January 17. Stair gates and high chair were provided for the toddler, and generally apartment was well equipped for our stay. We needed the heating on during the evenings, and found the inclusive allowance was sufficient to cover this . A car is required to make the most of the area which has plenty to offer in terms of days out. Unfortunately the spa resort was out of action due to flooding during recent storms so we could not used the indoor pool as planned . Only negative was the bedding which needed replacing but we fed this back to owner who intends to address this . Deposit returned in 2 weeks. Overall a good stay for the money.

De woning is ruim en comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien zoals vaatwasser, wasmachine en internet tv. Voldoende leefruimte voor 6 personen. Goed geïsoleerd, voldoende privacy. Ook het balkon is ruim, met zowel zon als schaduw. Bedden zijn confortabel en sanitair is netjes. Zwembad groot genoeg om baantjes in te trekken. Al met al een fijn huis om n week in te verblijven !

A Great Week

My family and I had a great weeks holiday in the early part of September. The apartment suited our family of four (with a 4 and 2 year old) really well. The kitchen was fitted out with all you would need to cook any type of meal and the multiple bathrooms on each level was a great benefit to. The facilities on the complex were well maintained and we made good use of the children's pool at the country club. There are some great beaches within a 5 minute drive of the apartment, which are clean and child friendly and the sea was warm too. We found some good local restaurants which were family friendly but also had great fresh produce and variety for all. I would highly recommend this location and apartment for any family. Its clean, well equipped and with a peaceful surrounding.

Great place!!

The place is great! Very well maintained. Close to Estepona and other beautiful place for quick day trips such as Ronda, Casares, Benahavis. Several nice beaches close buy to choose from. Neil, the owner is always making sure sure that things go well and that is very much appreciated. We stayed 6 weeks and will definitely come back on the next opportunity.

Nice place for family holidays

Very nice place, well maintained. Some time has passed since it was built - this can be seen in some spots inside the flat - but didn't influence our very positive picture of the stay. Overall: nice gardens, pools more than you can try out in a week's time. All facilities around beaches, supermarket, nice restaurants in reach of 10 minutes by car (rental car definitely recommended!). My fellow writers who stayed here before have delivered an accurate description which we can totally confirm! Thanks to Neil and Greg who cared about us before and during the stay!

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir waren Ende Oktober als Familie mit zwei Kindern im Alter von neun und elf Jahren in der Wohnung und hatten einen sehr schönen und ruhigen Urlaub dort. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und bietet Platz für bis zu sechs Personen - und Ende Oktober hatten wir die Anlage fast für uns allein. Die Apartmentanlage ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, an mancher Fassade hat die Witterung genagt, aber sie ist gepflegt und die Pools wurden täglich gereinigt. Ende Oktober hat die Sonne zwar nicht mehr die Kraft, das Wasser deutlich aufzuheizen, aber unsere Kinder hatten dennoch jede Menge Spaß vor allem am kleinen Pool nahe der Wohnung. Das große Apartment bietet zudem mit mehreren Balkons genügend Platz, um sich auch mal zurückzuziehen oder ein Buch zu lesen. Falls es kleine Probleme gibt, (bei uns ging zunächst nicht das Wifi) hilft der nette Verwalter Greg freundlich weiter. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Form mehrerer Supermärkte sind in der nahen Umgebung. Auch der Weg zum Strand ist nicht weit, aber durch die Küstenschnellstraße, die sich durch den ganzen Süden zieht, nicht ganz so einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ich würde darum auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen empfehlen - auch weil dies Ausflüge deutlich erleichtert. Wir hatten jedenfalls einen sehr entspannten und schönen Urlaub in der Anlage und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic apartment!!

Absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. Fantastic views over looking a golf course and land.Three balconies and a roof terrace so lots of privacy. Lots of pools to choose from and one virtually on your doorstep that is very quiet and relaxing. This was one of the best apartments we had stayed in, it ticked all the boxes and had everything you needed. Very local to everywhere to and great facilities. Thoroughly recommend!!

The apartment was as advertised.Though the bedrooms were smaller than i had thought.To me the apartment is on the outskirts of Estapona but about a 10 minute drive to.We did not go to the beaches but used the swimmimg pool right beside the apartment which was very handy.We drove to Ronda,Caesares, and Gibralta.If going to Gibralta leave your car on the Spanish side and walk over the border.We used the driving range in the club which our teenage daughters enjoyed.you have to hire the clubs and bucket of balls.The nearest supermarket Mercadona was great.reasonable prices and every thing you would need.Fresh bread daily and fish.The historic part of Estapona is worth a visit.Lovely hanging baskets and lots of cafes.The town seems quite Spanish and not too touristy.We all had a lovely time and were blessed with good weather

Fantastic Holiday

I've guessed the date we stayed but it was in August 2013. We are a family of 4 and the apartment was perfect for us. It has 4 balconies and there were times when I was able to avoid the family completely. The apt is clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. There is ample storage space and three bathrooms if my memory serves me correctly. At the back, the balcony over looks the golf driving range and pitch and putt. Even better, it faces a mountain that looks like a large man lying on his back. The view is great and changes as the sun moves position. It takes about 35 large steps to get to the nearest pool and although there are a number of other pools on the Albayt site that may be prettier, we loved using the pool nearest the apt. It is clean and just the right size to dunk an annoying teenager. It is also quiet and there are plenty of poolside beds to lie on. The area is great too, with a Mercadonna only a mile or so away ( if that ) if you turn left at the roundabout and head towards Estepona. The town of Sabinilas is very pleasant, has a market and a Burger King. There are several restaurants too. A little further on, you will find La Dequisa, which has an old fort and plenty of small restaurants that serve tapas and other delights. There is a large beach and one of those traditional beach bars that serve food. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked to stay again this year. We cannot wait and would recommend Neils apartment to anyone, whether you have a young family or just looking for a quiet retreat. Lovely. I should also mention that there is a huge Carfore ( not sure of the spelling ), in Estepona, which you can see off the main road and only about 20 mins drive from the apartment.

Very good value

We had a great time at the appartement. The appartement was very clean with many terraces to enjoy the perfect weather. The Country Club was a big plus as there is a good onsite restaurant with reasonable prices, golf and paddle tennis. The country Club also has the choice of 8 pools one of them directly at the side of the appartement. The pools were never crowded and we used them and the onsite facilities a lot. As other reviewers already said, the nearby beach is not accessable by foot and isnt worth a visit at all. That was not a problem for us as we had a car and there were so many great beaches within a few minutes drive. We would have enjoyed the appartment even more if some minor repairs and furniture updates would have been made. The overall condition of the appartement is good, but be aware that the bedrooms and the masterbed is relative small for large persons. ( I guess that is typical for spain ) The location is perfect for daytrips to various Costa del sol Highlights and the town of estepona is really beautiful. The owner and the caretaker who lives on the resort were very helpful and friendly. In summary, we had a wonderful time at Costa galera, and enjoyed our vacation so much, we consider on returning sometime in the future. The overall value of the appartement is excellent, the onsite facilities are clean and offer a lot to do while the surrounding areas have everything you might be looking for whether you are looking for great beaches old citys or good dining and shopping. Urlaub in einer komfortablen Ferienwohnung

Für unsere Familie mit drei (fast) erwachsenen Kindern war dieses großzügig Appartement genau das richtige Ferienziel. Insgesamt drei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem dazugehörigen Bad sowie drei Balkonen und eine große Dachterrasse - Platzenge konnte nicht aufkommen. Die Ausstattung war gut. Küchengeschirr und -Zubehör war vollständig, es fehlte nichts. Die Wohnung war sauber. Die Anlage selbst war sehr gepflegt. Der große Pool (den wir mit zwei weiteren Familien praktisch allen nutzen konnten) wurde täglich gereinigt. Etwas störend war der hohe Sicherheitsstandard; die Anlage war durch einen hohen, verschlossenen Drahtzaun gesichert. Insgesamt entsprach die Beschreibung im Angebot unseren Erwartungen. Vielen Dank an Neil und Greg (den Verwalter vor Ort) für einen schönen Urlaub. Wir können die Anlage weiterempfehlen.
