Our stay in Windberg was excellent - it was the perfect base to explore this part of Bayern. The Bavarian Forest is beautiful and there is so much to see and do within a short drive. All the necessities you need are nearby - grocery store 5 mins, several restaurants within 10 mins (some walkable) … truly, you could not ask for a better location. The apartment is wonderful - extremely comfortable, inaccurately clean, and beautifully decorated. The host has furnished a perfect kitchen (everything and more than you need to fix a perfect meal). The furnishings are comfortable and new - but, also very reflective of the region. In addition, the apartment is private and has a private entry and reserved parking. Best of all, there is a washing machine IN the apartment. We were underway for a month, so the washer was a welcome part of our stay. Honestly, if you’re going to spend time in the area … this is a perfect place to stay. Peace and quiet abound!! Finally, your hosts are extremely friendly and will help answer any questions. They know the area and openly share their knowledge and passion for the region.

Ruhig und idyllisch

Die Unterkunft diente als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für eine Besorgung in der Nähe. Die Größe ist ausreichend für zwei Personen. Die Sitzgelegenheit im Außenbereich in Anbindung an die Küche ist gemütlich und eignet sich hervorragend zur Naturbeobachtung. Es fehlt an nichts, Elektrogeräte sind vorhanden, der Backofen macht seine Arbeit, und für Zutaten wie Kaffee und Tee ist gesorgt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, man fühlt sich aufgehoben. Danke für den Aufenthalt und die kleine Begrüßungsüberraschung.
