A relaxing holiday in the countryside in a family-friendly atmosphere with farm animals (2 alpacas, 4 cats, chickens, 2 dogs, 1 turtle). <br>A 65-square-meter holiday apartment serving as a granny flat with a separate entrance on the ground floor of our half-timbered house, the former Tümpling restaurant. The apartment is incredibly cosy, with a mix of tile and hardwood floors. Wheelchair accessible. Entryway with coat rack, bathroom (last renovated in 2025) with heated floors and a low-entry bathtub, and an open-concept layout connecting the kitchen and living room. 2 leather sofas (3-seater, 2-seater), 1 leather armchair, TV. Kitchen with a wooden corner bench (seats 5), ceramic cooktop, oven, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes, pots and pans, spices, silverware...—a self-caterer’s dream. Large bedroom with a cosy wooden double bed (mattress is 1.4 m wide), 1 bunk bed (2.10 m long) for 2 additional guests, large wardrobe, chest of drawers.<br>Seating area under a bluebell tree with a Hollywood swing, table, and folding chairs, view of the castle. 1 guest parking space directly in front of the holiday apartment in the fenced-in garden area. Shared use of the garden, tree swings. A wide variety of recreational activities (water hiking, cycling, hiking in beech forests, wine-growing region, spa towns, thermal baths, zoos, wild horses, summer toboggan run, maze, archery course in the forest, castles and palaces, Stone Age monuments, medieval towns, toy factory, and much more. - Flyers are available in the holiday rental.)<br>Restaurants, a bank, and shopping are all within walking distance; take a 1-km hike along the Saale River through the romantic castle park to Camburg.<br>Minimum stay of 5 days during holiday periods. Shorter stays can be requested at least 14 days in advance.<br>€40 final cleaning fee. Linen packages are optional (€8 per person for bed linens, hand towels, bath towels, and tea towels. Guests make their own beds).
