LOCATION AND AMENITIES OF THE PROPERTY: The charming holiday home HET GANZELAND is located on the edge of the lovely De Skâns holiday park, in a quiet and sunny setting. About 400 m via a walking path to the marina and restaurant (open seasonally). Beach (lawn) 700 m away; fishing spot approx. 600 m away. 2 parking spaces near the holiday home. Small garden with a play area and a small patio with furniture, 2 lounge chairs, and a patio umbrella.
Completely renovated in 2017, the holiday home is bright and comfortably furnished, well-equipped with, among other things, a wood-burning stove, washing machine, cable TV, DVD player, small stereo system with CD player, and internet access (Wi-Fi, included). Laminate and vinyl flooring. Gas central heating.

The quiet and tranquil holiday destination of Oostmahorn is situated directly on Lauwersmeer, which is connected to the North Sea (Wadden Sea) via a dam and a lock. Groningen is 40 km to the east and Leeuwarden 35 km to the west. Much of the area is a nature reserve. Excellent sailing, surfing, and fishing opportunities. In Oostmahorn: a wide grassy beach, a children’s playground, and a tour boat offering boat tours. A network of marked cycling trails starts right in town. Good opportunities for walking and hiking. In Anjum (3 km away), there are pony rides, a supermarket, a bakery, a café, and a butcher shop. An indoor swimming pool is located in the picturesque town of Dokkum, 14 km away. There is an amusement park in Leek (30 km) and a seal sanctuary in Pieterburen (25 km). From Lauwersoog (6 km away), day trips to the island of Schirmonnikoog.
