We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this mountain creek home. While the house itself is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, what truly makes this property exceptional is its setting. The gardens surrounding the home are simply breathtaking. Mature hostas, hydrangeas, coneflowers, phlox, daylilies, Rose of Sharon, moss-covered rocks, and countless other woodland plants create a landscape that feels less like traditional landscaping and more like a natural botanical garden. Every walk around the property revealed something new—bumblebees working the flowers, butterflies drifting over the lawn, beautiful stone-lined creek banks. The constant sound of the rushing creek became the soundtrack of our stay. Sitting on the expansive covered porch with a cup of coffee in the morning or relaxing in the porch swings in the evening while listening to the water flow through the woods was wonderfully peaceful. If you appreciate nature, gardening, photography, birdwatching, or simply sitting quietly surrounded by mature trees and beautiful woodland scenery, this property is a true retreat. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already hoping to return.

The perfect example of what a mountain cabin should be. Rooms were huge, clean and excellently appointed. The floor plan is perfect. Grounds are incredible with unbelievable selection of plantings and arrangement. We spent lots of time on the wrap around deck. The creek is major focal point and bonus, like something out of a novel. This is one of, if not the best cabin we've stayed at in years of going to WNC. Neighbor cabins were not too close and the neighborhood was quiet. Very much enjoyed, hopefully available for our next trip.
