Fun family house

We loved all the fun packed into this house! Between the games, outdoor bar, tvs in every room, pool, and many hangout spots, as well as proximity to the beach, it set our multi-generation family vacation up for success.

Perfect family vacation home

The house was perfect for our family vacation with 10 adults and 4 children. It is a beautiful home and is equipped with everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The covered deck is perfect for coffee in the morning. The sitting area near the pool was perfect for rainy days.

Great location, living room space and kitchen was very nice. Outdoor living spaces had a lot of options. Air conditioning on the main floor leaves something to be desired with a full house in and out, bring an extra fan or two to stay comfortable if it’s hot out. Bed, linens and towels etc were all comfy and nice.

Great Family Beach House for 12 adults

We had 12 people from 2 families and the house was fantastic. The 2 master bedroom suites on the ground floor were great for the parents and the 4 kids with their +1 ones stayed upstairs in the 4 bedrooms. We really enjoyed the ground floor outside venue with TV and access to the pool area. The house location was close enough to the beach access so everyone had no problem walking back and forth to the beach - We plan on coming back in two years

Great house, great location

We loved this house. Lots of space, indoor and out. Beautifully decorated. Close to the beach, a short drive to the wildlife refuge. We rented for the week of Thanksgiving. We arrived to find a lovely greeting package of utensils for cooking our TG meal, and then found the kitchen well stocked as well. We had a wonderful week! Highly recommend this house.

Air conditioning was great, kitchen was well equipped, number of “adult bedrooms” was nice (single bed king& Queen rooms) Shower stalls needed a good cleaning, air intake vents were caked with dust, baseboards and windowsills (toddler finger level) were dirty. Nice large family gathering space in the living room. Easy walk to the beach with toddlers was welcome. Covered outside patio with TV was great, until it leaked. Water spilling over the gutters sent us inside. Loved the pool.

Beautiful and Comfortable but….

The home was beautiful, comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. The pool is very small. BUT there was sand on the floors throughout, and considerable clumps of dust under all beds. Nice washer& dryer and extra fridge is great!

Lazy Day Z Retreat

Absolutely loved all the beachy finishes and all the conveniences that you provided us. Everything was so clean and well organized it made staying there so enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything I would need to make a meal. I brought extra pans from home and didn't even need to touch them. The activities that you had outside even extra pool toys were such a surprise. We will definitely stay there again hopefully sometime soon. Anybody thinking about this one he will definitely not be disappointed

Awesome vacation home

for a large family group this house was amazing! Everyone had plenty of space to either be together or get alone, if needed. Getting to the beach was easy and quick, we did not have to worry about the kids at any time. Game room, outside patio, and pool were favorites for all ages. Home was in great shape, furnished nicely, very roomy. the only negatives we found were food in the couch cushions, big dust bunnies under the beds, and the sheets for the kids room mattresses were not deep enough, so we had to double up top sheets to cover them. everyone enjoyed their stay immensely. Thank you!

Lovely family vacation

We loved our stay at Lazy Day Z. There were plenty of great gathering spaces, inside and out. The house was very well appointed. However a house that size could really use a regular sized coffee pot. The pool was small and shallow but it did not diminish our fun. We were very disappointed however, that the house was not fully clean upon our arrival. The floors were not mopped or even swept. There was a lot of sand and in all the rooms. The beach was closer than we anticipated 2 minutes!

Not listening

We vacationed at Sandbridge Beach and stayed at the Lazy Day-Z. Although the house was well equiped with a pool and nice outdoor area, it was far from clean when we arrived. Samd on the floors, counter tops not cleaned, spattered spaghetti sauce on the range, and huge dust on the vents snd ynder the beds. The property manager offered to send a cleaning team, but we had already moved in! I cleaned the house on my own. It seems from previous reviews that uncleanliness is an reoccurring issue which has not been fixed!

Nice layout for a larger family, poor upkeep on the cleaning.

We were disappointed in the customer service with Vacasa and some of the cleaning. The house needs regular cleaning. Cobwebs, vents very thick with dust, air filters need changing. There is an extra AC unit in the living room, which did help, but you must roll/carry it out to the deck each day (every 8 ish hours) to empty it. This is not explained. After contacting Vacasa about the vents, filters, etc. No response at all. If you are renting and use the extra unit it does help. Just keep taking it outside to drain it or it will cut off.

Hi Lisa, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t fully meet expectations and apologize for the cleanliness issues and lack of response from Vacasa. We’re addressing these concerns with our local team, especially regarding the vents, filters, and AC unit. Your input is valuable, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We hope you still enjoyed parts of your stay and would love the chance to provide a better experience in the future.
