We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was comfortable, quiet, and it's a quick trip over to Gillette Stadium. We would absolutely stay here again!

About the host

We're a local family from the South Shore who genuinely love hosting — not in the "we bought a rental property" way, but in the "we want you to have the best week of your life" way. We've been in and around Boston long enough to know the backroads, the hidden gems, and exactly how to avoid the tourist traps.

We're soccer fans ourselves, which is honestly why we put the work into getting this house ready for the World Cup — we know what it means to travel across the country (or the world) for a tournament like this, and we wanted to give guests a place that actually felt like a reward at the end of a match day, not just a place to sleep.

We're responsive, low-drama, and genuinely invested in your stay going well. Reach out anytime — we'd rather you text us a question than spend 20 minutes Googling it.

Why they chose this property

Norwood doesn't try too hard — and that's exactly why we love it. It's a real New England town: quiet residential streets, good neighbors, local diners with regulars who've been sitting at the same stool for 20 years. The Norwood Diner, The Feisty Greek, Byblos — these aren't Instagram spots, they're just genuinely good food made by people who live here.

What makes it work for guests is the balance. You're 8 miles from the stadium with none of the gridlock chaos of being right on top of it. You can be on a commuter rail and in downtown Boston in under an hour. But when you pull back into the driveway after a match, you're in a neighborhood that's actually peaceful — tree-lined streets, a fenced backyard, no noise from the main road. It recharges you in a way that city-center stays just don't.

What makes this property unique

Honestly? The outdoor space — and the fact that we didn't cut corners on it. A lot of rentals have a "backyard" that's really just a patch of grass with a plastic chair. Ours has a proper deck with string lights, Adirondack chairs around a fire pit, and a private hot tub that fits the whole group. After a World Cup match, that combination hits differently.

Inside, we put real thought into the four bedrooms — each one has its own distinct feel (Snowport, Artist Bluff, Bohemian Room, Baby Boomers Suite) so no one's fighting over the "good room." The vaulted great room with fireplace is where groups naturally land together without anyone feeling cramped, and the fully renovated kitchen actually holds up when you're feeding nine people before a noon kickoff.

The other thing guests tell us matters: we're genuinely close to the stadium without any of the noise or parking chaos. Eight miles on backroads, and rideshare picks up right from the driveway. That logistics piece alone changes the whole experience of a tournament trip.
