The Hafen-Butze holiday rental combines the charm of a historic Flensburg merchant’s house dating back to 1866 with modern living comforts. Completely renovated in 2023, the holiday apartment is located on the ground floor and, with 55 m² of space, offers the ideal retreat for up to two adults and one child. Thanks to its elevated location, you can enjoy a small, partial view of the Flensburg Fjord.
The bright living area invites you to relax with a cosy sofa nook, an armchair, and a dining area. Large windows let in plenty of natural light while still providing ample privacy. The separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed promises restful nights.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need to prepare your meals: a 2-burner hob, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, as well as a full set of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. Tea towels and a small selection of basic spices are also provided for your convenience.
The modern bathroom features a shower, sink, mirror, makeup mirror, and hair dryer. Soap and shampoo are included, as are fluffy hand towels, bath towels, and tea towels. Bed linens are, of course, included.
Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi (25 Mbit/s or faster), a flat-screen TV with digital cable, a hi-fi system, a radio, and a CD player. An iron, ironing board, clothes rack, and a shared washing machine provide additional comfort, even during longer stays.
Families with a small child are also welcome. A cot can be provided. Youth groups are not permitted in the accommodation. The apartment is a non-smoking property; unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
The location is one of the Hafen-Butze’s greatest advantages: The Flensburg harbour, with its maritime atmosphere, is only about 100 metres away. The historic old town, with its cosy cafés, restaurants, boutiques, and shopping options, begins practically right on your doorstep. Bus stops are just a few steps away; the fjord ferries are about 150 metres away, and the train station is approximately two kilometres away. Museums, theatres, a cinema, and numerous sights are all within easy walking distance.
Active holidaymakers will also find plenty to enjoy. The Flensburg Fjord offers ideal opportunities for sailing, surfing, swimming, or boat trips.
