The park is located on an island and by crossing a small bridge you can reach the park. From here you can visit, for example, National Park Alde Feanen. Grou is known for its many water sports possibilities, such as sailing, supping, renting a sloop or motor yacht, delicious restaurants and cosy shops. As the holiday home is located in the lake district of Friesland, you can sail endlessly here. The landscape in De Alde Feanen is varied: marshes, reed beds, shrublands and marsh forests determine your view. You can walk, cycle, sail and enjoy nature, birds and peace and quiet here. The city of Leeuwarden is just 15 kilometres away, Drachten, Heerenveen and Sneek about 25 kilometres.
