House and location great for what we wanted to do. Was traveling with 2 dogs and they had lots of room to play in the back yard on long leashes and they even got to have there own room in the great big closet. You are definitely back in the woods and I would definitely suggest having a 4x4 to get in and out. Felt like a home away from home for a week. Would stay again if in area.

Very clean and tidy. Tucked away yet easy access to many local stores. Driveway is 1/4 mile dirt road but we had an easy time since we had a pickup. Host is super friendly and helpful. Went over and above to be sure any questions were promptly addressed . Check in and out were a breeze. Would gladly stay again.

The property is perfect!!! The furniture and decor is top shelf. The essentials and amenities for meal preparation were above par. Will definitely try and stay here again.

Beautiful home for a mountain getaway. Host was honest, home was immaculately clean. Nice appliances, nice tv's, speedy internet for being on the side of a mountain, nice furniture ( was very impressed with the furniture, towels, bathroom cleanliness, nice extra blankets, utensils ). This property doesnt use thrift store, goodwill things or appliances to just have a rental and make extra money, they care about the quality of the stay. 2 bottles of wine ( we dont drink wine but the gesture in itself), complimentary milk and cereal. The Vaughns were a great host to my family and I. I didn't like the security deposit aspect as i take care of others things better then my own and it was more then my 2 day stay, but after staying at the property I see why this was required. Possibly to weed out those who don't take care of things or as an insurance of keeping the quality of the amenities. We will rent from the Vaughns again as i have family local to the area.
