This was a quiet neighborhood and not far from all the amenities downtown. Host was very gracious! If we get back to this area it will be our next stay for sure!

Tommy's place is very clean and in a nice neighborhood. It is located in an area that makes it easy to travel to Boise and Twin Falls. Lots of beautiful attractions and hiking in the area. Close to Mountain Home AFB if you are visiting family. The owner responds quickly to questions. My family enjoyed our stay at Tommy's Place.

Clean and cute inside but the details matter. The yard was completely dead and when we tried to open the bedroom window the blinds had fallen off and the window outside was covered in bugs and cobwebs so we didn’t open the window. THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER AND WE DISCOVERED THAT WHEN MY MOM WENT NUMBER TWO! We looked everywhere and couldn’t find any toilet paper anywhere, there were no Kleenex or anything, no napkins. I messaged the host and he said he realized there was no toilet paper and he didn’t want to come inside the house so he left it in the basement, but he didn’t communicate any of that with us. Also there was no cutting board and no nonstick pans. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. For the price I would say this was a rip off.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry the stay didn’t meet your expectations, and I appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention. I want to clarify a few points and take responsibility where it’s due. We had a guest check out just a few hours before your arrival. To accommodate your request to come three hours early, I turned the house around as quickly as possible so you could get in when you needed to. I realize that rushed turnaround meant a few things were missed, and for that I apologize. You’re right that the lack of toilet paper was completely unacceptable. I had left a fresh supply in the basement after realizing it was gone, but I failed to message you about it — that was my mistake and I’m sorry it caused such an uncomfortable situation for your mom. There should always be toilet paper, tissues, and basic paper products ready when guests arrive. I’ll be adding a clear note in the house manual and making sure supplies are stocked and visible going forward. I also hear you on the missing cutting board and nonstick pans, the hard beds, the condition of the yard, and the issues with the bedroom window and blinds. Those details matter, and I’m taking them seriously. I’m already addressing the kitchen inventory, looking into mattress toppers, and scheduling exterior cleaning and window maintenance. Again, I’m sorry the experience fell short, especially given the price. Your feedback is helpful and I’m using it to improve things for future guests.
