Welcome to our “Anno 1926 Holiday Rental”<br><br>Our holiday rental is located in Mertesdorf, the oldest wine-growing village in the Ruwer Valley, near Trier, Germany’s oldest city. Thanks to excellent bus service, you can reach city centre Trier every 30 minutes from the bus stop right next to the holiday rental.<br><br>In addition, there are shopping opportunities in the neighbouring town, which you can also easily reach by bus.<br>In the Ruwer district (3 km away), you’ll find a doctor’s office and a pharmacy, as well as a Sparkasse and a Volksbank. There is an ice cream parlour in town, about 500 m from the holiday rental.<br>As for recreational activities, the outdoor swimming pool is located at the entrance to town (1.5 km) and is open during the summer months from May through early September. The Ruwer Bike Trail also begins at the entrance to town. An old railway right-of-way has been converted into a 40-kilometer bike path that takes you through idyllic countryside, over paths and bridges along the Ruwer (a tributary of the Moselle), all the way to the Hunsrück.
