About the host

This guest house was originally built for my parents so they would have a comfortable, accessible place to live as they got older. However, after my mother was diagnosed with Stage 6 Alzheimer’s disease, she moved into the main house with me so I could provide the care and support she needs every day.

As a full-time caregiver, we decided to rent the guest house to help generate additional income while making use of a space that was thoughtfully designed for comfort, accessibility, and independence. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming place for guests who are visiting the area for work, family visits, medical appointments, or vacation.

We take pride in maintaining the property and creating a comfortable home-away-from-home experience. By offering the guest house as a short-term rental, we are able to share this special space with others while helping support my mother’s care. We hope you enjoy the privacy, convenience, and thoughtful design that make this guest house a comfortable place to stay.
