Honestly everything was very planned out by the hosts. Wasps were around a lot but they had a lot of wasp spray in the cabinet and OFF for mosquitos. Towels, beds, blankets, toiletry, snacks, drinks, firewood, extras seating, tables, games, and so much more! All of this stuff was already there. Would definitely stay here again!

This is an amazing property—a secluded and peaceful retreat for our last-minute family getaway. The host was very communicative (we had a lot of questions!) and provided everything we needed. It was very clean and well taken care of (the recent renovation was very nice!). Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook in. The kids loved the bunk room and the games in the garage space; the other bedrooms were great for the grown ups, and the rain cooled the temps so we even got to enjoy the hot tub. It’s a bit out of the way from where we were visiting family (Jasper and Holiday World) but I’m glad we found this place and would stay again.

Southern Indiana is great place to carry on a family tradition away from the lights and sounds of the city getting back to the basics and enjoying nature with nearby fishing at Patoka Lake. French Lick is home to many tourism activities including two historic hotels, lots of restaurants, a water park, antique shoppes and great golf courses,

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is secluded on 200 acres of private land. You can't get enough of the beautiful view of lush greenery and wooded natural scenery abundant with wildlife. We included all the modern amenities with our 2026 renovation at the cabin including a rainfall walk-in shower, a hot tub, large picturesque windows, a well-stocked modern kitchen, a game room, a family room with large 75" Smart TV and a patio deck with a built in fire circle.
