Still a seafaring and fishing village to this day, Wieck has in recent years become an insider’s tip for those seeking relaxation, nature lovers, and Baltic Sea holidaymakers who want to spend the best days of the year away from the hustle and bustle.

The town’s character is defined by its many thatched-roof houses with their half-hipped roofs, wooden siding, and famous doors.

To the northwest of the village, the Darß Forest—with its old beech trees, holly, pines, ferns, junipers, and heather—offers cyclists and hikers a wide range of excursions into unspoiled nature.

The Weststrand is arguably the most popular destination. After a 9-km ride through the flora and fauna of the Darß Forest, you’ll reach this wild and romantic stretch of our coast.
The North Beach near Prerow is also easily accessible via the well-developed network of bike paths—just 4 km away.

And the Bodden offers excellent conditions for all kinds of water sports. A paradise for sailors, surfers, and anglers! Children can splash around, run about, and swim to their hearts’ content in the shallow waters of the Bodden on the beach next to the renovated harbour.

Ahoy and a warm welcome to the lovingly furnished cabin of the famous seafarer Ahab. Hoist the sails and set off with us on the dreamlike “Darss” adventure. Feel like a real captain and enjoy the idyllic seafaring charm of our homeland.
The former fishing village of Wieck lies on the shores of the Bodstedter Bodden on the Darss Peninsula. The Baltic Sea beach is just a few kilometres away and invites you to enjoy refreshing swims and long walks. A special highlight is the Weststrand. This secluded area is accessible only by horse-drawn carriage, on horseback, by bike, or via the Darssbahn, and entices visitors with its romantic, secluded spots.

Included in the price is a linen package consisting of 1 set of bed linens, 1 hand towel, and 1 bath towel per person. In addition, attractive deals await you during the off-season. Check-in is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The holiday complex features a sauna with an adjoining relaxation area. A cosy lounge invites you to unwind, while you can enjoy relaxing, dreamlike moments for two by the flames of our electric fireplace.
