What a beautiful home and location! We absolutely loved everything about this property. The house was stocked with everything we needed, plus some! Readily accessible kayaks, life jackets, and fishing poles made our stay even better. There are yard games, board games, two grills and a Blackstone, plus a fire pit. Alex was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. We hope to return one day!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. The house itself was clean and spacious with many fun things to do. The back yard and firepit provided us with space to connect and relax outside. With access to the dock, we were able to easily access a boat we rented across the river and it was the perfect outing! Alex was a gracious and communicative host. Overall 10/10 very lovely stay.The only thing I would note regarding listing accuracy is that the actual bedroom count is 4 (including loft space). There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, the primary bedroom on the main/upstairs floor, and an additional loft above the main floor. The couch with a pull out queen bed is on the main floor in the living room area. The house does comfortably sleeps 10 adults.

Boating is at the heart of our story. My girlfriend, Angie and I have spent our entire lives on the water. For 28 years, I held a commercial Captain's license and operated the Spirit of Peoria-a authentic stern driven paddle wheeler that now cruises Nashville under the name The Capitol. Angie is equally driven; she has successfully run her own hairdressing business in East Peoria for 30 years. When she isn't at the salon, she loves her 5 dogs and boating on the Illinois River. These days you can find us working on our new, complete with a private little cove right on the Illinois River.

"True to its name, Sunset Drive holds a very special place in our hearts, hosting both our rental properties and our forever home. Each evening offers a breathtaking spectacle as the Sun Sets over a pristine stretch of the Illinois river-a view that is simple perfect.

What makes this property unique

Dolphin Cove is so unique because of its ultimate relaxation and endless entertainment. Inside the home is warm with soaring windows that fill the home with natural light. Two massive kitchens and living rooms, plenty of space to spread out or gather together. Don't forget to throw some darts, shoot some pool or just relax in the huge hot tub.
If fishing is your game, we supply four catfish poles all rigged up and provide you with some live night crawlers for bait. This fishing is great off the beach or right in the harbor off the dock. Don't forget we have 2 kayaks with life jackets and paddles for you to enjoy the river as well.
