The 132-square-meter Upstalsboom 4-room penthouse, sinf51-4-n, at the NordseeResort Friesland—featuring a sauna and a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the North Sea—accommodates up to 6 people. The whirlpool tub and wood-burning stove in the apartment round out the cosy atmosphere.

The location
The north-facing “Wattenkieker” penthouse is located on the 4th floor—right on the dike—in the popular NordseeResort Friesland holiday complex. The kilometer-long sandy beach is just 200 metres away. Numerous shopping options, restaurants, and cafés are easily accessible on foot or by bike. The surrounding area offers great recreational and family activities, such as the popular Hooksiel water ski lift with its large sun deck. Our family tip: Take a guided mudflat hike!

This high-end penthouse features free Wi-Fi and includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, a living-dining area with an open kitchen, and a 54-square-meter rooftop terrace. Two of the three bedrooms each have a double bed; the third bedroom is furnished with two single beds.

The spacious living-dining area with a wood-burning stove (firewood not included) and an open kitchen features a 42-inch SMART TV, a hi-fi system, books, and board games.
The fully equipped kitchen offers a glass-ceramic cooktop with oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric kettle, capsule coffee machine (Tchibo Cafissimo), toaster, and egg cooker.
You’ll have two bathrooms with showers at your disposal. The large bathroom, featuring underfloor heating, includes a sauna and a whirlpool tub—a true little oasis of well-being!
Another highlight of the apartment is the 54-square-meter rooftop terrace with a unique view of the sea and the offshore dike—equipped with barefoot decking, patio furniture, and two sun loungers.
In addition, the penthouse features a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, cosmetic and full-length mirrors, and an alarm clock. You can book a cot and a high chair for an additional fee upon request.
The apartment has insect screens and blackout curtains on the windows.
