Located right along the Bourbon Trail, this peaceful retreat sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 real beds and features a private hot tub, fire pit, propane grill, EV charger, and a large fully fenced backyard that's perfect for both kids and dogs.

Welcome to the perfect Bourbon Trail getaway. This charming 100-year-old farmhouse blends historic character with modern comforts, creating a warm and inviting space for bourbon adventures, horse country visits, family vacations, and weekend escapes.

Unlike many vacation rentals that advertise sleeping for 10 using pullout couches or air mattresses, our farmhouse comfortably accommodates larger groups with five actual beds, including custom queen-over-queen bunk beds. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas make gathering easy, while the bedrooms are tucked away for privacy and relaxation.

Rob & Katie thanks for thinking of all the EXTRAs that make this place sooo SPECIAL! Perfect location between Frankfort and Louisville - made it easy to hit all the Bourbon Trail spots our time would permit. Love the easel of local tips and must-see places, too!If you're seeking a "stay-home" kind of vacation, their home-away-from-home won't disappoint. The outdoor amenities are over and above the everyday VRBOs we've visited. It was hard for us Texans to expect use of an outdoor pit, games and hottub when we left 100 temperatures. Such a pleasant surprise to enjoy 80 degree weather and take it all in. Looking forward to visiting here again!

This was the perfect place for our 6 group party. The outdoor set up was perfect. I texted the hosts a question and they immediately texted back to answer my question. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. Hot tub was big enough for all 6 of us too! It was perfect.

We had a great stay at the Shelbyville Farmhouse. The house was perfect, and everything was so well-organized that we never needed to reach out to the host. The hot tub was a total highlight, especially since the rain kept us from the fire pit. Highly recommended as a home base while exploring the Bourbon Trail. The host provided an informative and useful guide for local attractions and restaurants.We will be back.

The positives: Fun backyard with lots of things to do, the best coffee bar of any house we have rented, safe and quiet location. Most beds were comfortable, lots of seating at dining room table, fully fenced for our dog , the kitchen was very well stocked and had every pan pot or utensil we needed for cooking all of our meals there. There was plenty of firewood which was a big plus for our group.The negatives: The house was not the cleanest. The kitchen, in particular, needs a deep clean. The stovetop, oven and microwave were all very dirty. There were cigarette butts on the front porch and metal bottle tops and cigarette butts around the fire pit. We were happy to pick those up but at this price point the cleaning should be better. The closets and storage were disorganized and cluttered. We could only find 5 towels for the hot tub and very few extra towels in general so we had to do laundry. In saying that, we would stay here again. Great property overall and very good communication with managing company. Our outside trash cans filled up during our stay and I texted and they promptly sent someone to empty them.

This place was amazing and the host was so great. This place was in an awesome location, close to everything but far away to relax after traveling Kentucky. The place was set up with an informative travel book and the propriety was so cool. Would 100% recommend for bourbon trail goers!

Great Kentucky getaway

We had a great time staying in Shelbyville for the weekend. The house offered everything we needed for a couple days and lots of extras that made our stay very comfortable. The property was clean and easy to access. We would definitely visit again, especially when the weather is nicer and we can enjoy the outdoor space more!

Cozy home with perfect location

My brother and I and our spouses stayed here as a base for exploring bourbon distilleries. The house was perfect for us and was beautifully decorated. I regret not using the hot tub and fire pit but the snow and cold weather was too much to hang out outdoors!

Great place to rest your hat between distilleries

This was a good resting place for visiting the bourbon trail. We went to Buffalo trace, four roses, castle and key, and woodford reserve. Pet owners will be thrilled to know this properties backyard is fully fenced now and our dog LOVED getting to run free! We felt relaxed with our pets here and place was clean. Beds were clean and comfy

Great time with friends

The house had everything we needed to spend the weekend with friends. Plenty of seating and a well stocked kitchen. Neighborhood was very quiet. Only downside was a bit of a drive to downtown Louisville.

Great Stay Exactly as Shown

Although it rained all weekend due to Hurricane Helene we had a great stay. Clean, well stocked with necessities, and a great layout. The house was exactly as shown in listing and was perfect for our family. The location was great and surrounded by beautiful farmlands. Due to the weather we followed the Bourbon Trail and enjoyed the area.
