Just stayed at Stephen Cottage in Highlands NC. The rental was exactly as described. Since we were in town for a wedding we only wished we could have enjoyed the property more. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable. The front porch was very inviting. Close to downtown Highlands off the main road but felt secluded as well. We would rebook in a minute.

Very nice — we had trouble getting into the unit when we arrived & had to contact the management — the keypad lock did not work — they instructed us to get the key from the lock box which we had to use the entire time we were there. The furniture was very uncomfortable. Cell phone coverage in the area was non existent but the Internet was available while we were in the unit.

Great place in an ideal location

This house had everything we needed. Nice updated furnishings, bedding tastefully done. An indoor fireplace and outdoor chimney were awesome for a trip to the mountains. The kitchen was fresh, had all the things we needed and we used it. All in all a great place for a 4 day getaway.

Everything had just been refurbished. Some glitches they will work out, but had a wonderful stay. Very comfortable beds and great kitchen.
