Great place for a family. Central location for touring Bavaria, we rented a vehicle and used the house as a base for travel. Host was great and very accommodating. Beds were OKbut pillows could be better, as trivial. Kids loved the rear garden space and access to wild black berries. Overall highly recommended.

Fantastic Holiday!

Great stay in this house! House has everything we needed for a family of 5. Excellent condition and well equipped. No issues! Thank you for the use of your bikes. Great back yard, kids loved it, and the playground down the street.

Bavarian Base Camp and Retreat

we had a great stay here as a retreat and base camp. We recommend a trip to Landsburg am Lech, Aimsee Lake, Andech all in one day to return, relax and enjoy surroundings, forest, great kitchen lovely dining/living room. A Family of young children, teenagers and adults beds were plentiful to choose from. Large garden for children to play in. Great walking area. Local pub, Italian restaurant minutes by foot. If not from the EU, supermarkets and shops closed on Sunday's. Buy from the airport grocery shop on arrival if need to. pub/restaurant open on Sunday. Location is great with only 1.5hrs to travel to great sights, castles Top of Germany, all in a days trip! Bonus, being winter with snow flakes about, we loved being able to light the fire :). Beautiful house and garden

We have just spent 12 lovely days at this property. We are a family with four children aged 14 - 24 and it was very much enjoyed by everyone. The house is very clean and well equipped. The cottage style garden is beautiful and we spent many lovely days and evenings enjoying it. We did not have a car with us but public transport is fairly frequent. There is an hourly bus service to Bobingen train station with services running until 3.30 am. There is a direct train service to Fuessen/Neuschwanstein from Bobingen which makes it very easy to visit this beautiful attraction. The immediate environment also has much to offer with miles of traffic free walking or cycling in the adjoining forests and an excellent open air swimming pool in Bobingen. We would thoroughly recommend this property for a family stay and would like to thank Mrs Schotte for her hospitality.

Beautiful and Large!

For this trip, we had 8 adults the cottage has plenty of room for everyone even for staying five days. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and the decorations and furnishings are charming. Fully stocked kitchen with all the desired equipment and the wifi is fast! The best though, are the beautiful gardens with outbuildings and covered seating. The hostess has one of the greenest thumbs I've seen - for this June trip, the flowers were spectacular. We will definitely stay here again (my 17-year-old daughter has decided to be married in the gardens 😀 Now we need a groom). Just a couple of warnings. Though there is plenty of parking behind the house, the driveway to it was a tight squeeze for the 8 passenger rented van we were driving. After one try, we parked on the sidewalk out front. Both restaurants in town are great, but if you get in late, bring your own. They close early. The town grocery requires a coin deposit for carts and while I've seen this in the states, I didn't have any with me. Also, bring your own bags. The clerks were nice enough to let us use baskets to carry groceries out, but we had to dump our stuff in the back of the van. The bakery and deli there are marvelous😋

Ruhig und gemütlich

Das Haus kannten wir schon, wir waren vor etwa zehn Jahren ein paar Male gekommen. Es ist nach wie vor sehr gemütlich und mit Flair eingerichtet.Es müssten inzwischen ein paar Schönheitsfehler korrigiert werden, aber wenn wir Hilfe gebraucht haben, hat Frau Schotte immer sofort reagiert, und Karol war prompt da, freundlich und hilfsbereit, das haben wir genossen. Vollkommen ruhige Lage. Augsburg sehr nah, auch zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell zu erreichen.Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch den schönen Garten genießen.

1-wöchiger Aufenthalt mit 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder

Eine Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen. Sehr gut ausgestattet. An für sich fehlte uns nichts. Vor allem das Bad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch die Anbindung ist top. Man ist in einer ruhigeren Lage und trotzdem zügig auf der B17 wovon man mehrere Ziele gut anfahren kann.

Ferienwohnung mit leichten Mängeln

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr geräumig und schön hergerichtet. Leider gab es ein paar Mängel. Der Rauchmelder im DG (viel Holz) hatte keine Batterie. Der Wasserhahn im Bad war total verkalkt. Es kam quasi kein Wasser mehr raus. Habe das Sieb rausgeschraubt und versucht zu entkalkten. Einige Glühbirnen müsste man ersetzen. TV im Wohnzimmer tat auf einmal nicht mehr. Die Wohnzimmermöbil war abgenutzt und muffig. Es gab zu wenig einheitliche Trinkgläser. Der Kaminfeger stand auf einmal vor der Tür. Für den Ofen wurde zum Teil imprägniertes, farbiges Holz (Bauholz) zur Verfügung gestellt. Im Trockner befand sich noch feuchte Wäsche die wir dann aufgehängt haben. Der Garten war riesig und schön. Ansonsten alles was man braucht. Wir haben die Tage dort genossen!

Danke für ihr feedback , schön das Sie den Aufenthalt genießen konnten. Es tut mir leid, dass es kleine Unanehmlichkeiten gab, die ich natürlich gern schnell behoben hätte- wenn ich davon wüsste. Obwohl wir uns mehrfach gesprochen haben, wurde kein nicht funktionierender TV nicht erwähnt, es gibt mehrere im Haus. Mancher sagt vielleicht auch bewusst nichts, um den Bedienfehler nicht darzustellen. Ähnlich ist es mit den Glühbirnen, wenn niemand Bescheid sagt , merkt man es unter Umständen nicht sofort. Auch Batterien geben irgendwann ihren Geist auf, schade das es nun jetzt bei Ihnen passierte, beim jährlichen Check war alles bestens. Von den Gläsern gibt es in der Nachbarküche kistenweise Vorrat, schade, das nicht nachgefragt wurde. Durch das gemeinsame Vermieten des Doppelhauses gerät da mal etwas an den falschen Platz, das tut mir leid.

Wir waren mit 5 Kindern und 4 Erwachsenen im Haus und es war einfach toll. Genügend Platz für die Kinder, die Natur pur im Hinterhof, ein toller Garten wo es viel zu entdecken gibt - wir alle fanden es sehr schön und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Dankeschön

Absolutely lovely house, even better than the pictures suggest!

The house is lovely, the bathroom is stunning. There is lots of space. Very comfortable for a family of four and everything spotlessly clean. Lots of extras included – loo rolls, dishwasher tabs, hair dryer, everything you need in the kitchen - tea, coffee, tea towels. Lovely to come to a house with everything you need. Really comfy beds and lovely decoration throughout. The downside is that there is only one bathroom and loo. Not so bad if there are four of you but any more and it would be a problem. There is a shower room with WC outside, but this is not private. The garden is beautiful and absolutely huge, but it is not adjoining the house. There is a car park between the house and garden and there are outbuildings in this area where the other shower room is located. These outbuildings also house washing machines which are used by cleaning staff who it seems are washing sheets and towels for other properties and arrive early in the morning, washing is then hung out in the garden. there are also a couple of garages where building supplies are stored and people were turning up early in the morning to collect stuff from these. The house is beautiful, but we didn’t like all the people coming and going outside. The garden was lovely, but we thought that it was private, and actually it is shared with the housekeeping staff and whoever rents the other little house. Unfortunately a couple with two very large aggressive dogs rented the little house and we could not go into the garden with our small timid dog! We were shown bikes that we could use, but the next day they were all taken away which was strange and a real pity!

Good overall, but some drawbacks. Warm and welcoming host!

Frau Schotte, the host, and her son, Benjamin, are both very helpful and quickly responsive. The house is spacious with a big living, dining area and 3 bedrooms. It is well located and quite central with easy access to Munich, Augsburg, Rothenburg, Nuremberg a and Neuschwanstein castle. Lots of space at the back if the house and a garden. The drawbacks of the property are that one of the bedrooms is up in the attic and gets very hot despite the fans kept in it. Opening the windows at night helps, but it takes a long time to cool. There is only one bathroom in the house, another one is in the backyard outside the house. This is certainly inconvenient, though manageable.

Ein wunderbarer Kurzurlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus!

Wir waren über Silvester mit 4 Erwachsenen, 5 Kindern und einem Hund in der großen Frieda und es war wirklich toll. Das Haus ist groß und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein besonderes Highlight war der riesige, umzäunte Garten und die Möglichkeit direkt mit dem Hund im Feld spazieren gehen zu können. Frau Schotte war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen immer sofort erreichbar.

.. und dann kommen Sie bald mal im Sommer und schauen wie der Rosengarten blüht oder benutzen einen der Grills um nach der Stadt-Besichtigung in Augsburg zu entspannen- oder ernten Äpfel und Birnen, die die alten Obstbäume reichlich hergeben. Noch viel zu entdecken- auf bald also und danke für den Aufenthalt in Straßberg!

Ferienhäuschen zum Wohlfühlen

Ein geräumiges nettes Häuschen voll ausgestattet und mit einer genialen Fußbodenheizung machte den Aufenthalt zu einem schönen Erlebnis. Das Häuschen ist schön hergerichtet und es gab alles was man brauchte. Gerade im tiefsten Winter wäre ein zweites WC im Haus nicht schlecht aber dafür gab es eine tolle Badewanne.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Augsburg und Umgebung

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in dem großzügigen und netten Haus in Bobingen. Der große Garten, der über den Hinterhof zu erreichen ist, bietet viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten, so dass, auch wenn man sich ihn mit den Gästen der vorderen Wohnung teilen muss, immer einen Platz für sich findet. Frau Schotte ist stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

Schönes Häuschen in Stadtnähe

Ein tolles Haus mit stilvoll eingerichtetem Interieur. Die Besitzerin beweist sowohl bei der Einrichtung, als auch bei der Sauberkeit und der Gestaltung des anliegenden Gartens. Da Die Ferienwohnung in der Nähe Augsburgs, aber auch in der Natur liegt, kann man seine Freizeitplanung gut anpassen; Kultur, Shopping, Naturerlebnis. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt in diesem Domizil nur empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, nur zu empfehlen !

Wir haben im Juli 2016 ein paar Tage in diesem schönen und sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Ausstattung übertrifft alles, was wir seither bei der Buchung eines Ferienhaus erlebt haben. Die Einrichtung ist außergewöhnlich gut, die Ausstattung wirklich großzügig. Es ist einfach alles da was man brauchen könnte, auch die Küche ist mehr als großzügig ausgestattet. Und alles ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert und sehr sauber. Schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind, buchen wir gerne wieder bei Ihnen. Wirklich Empfehlenswert !

Urlaub der sich lohnt :)

Für Familien einfach super und wer einen Hund hat ist hier richtig. Das Haus war super gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ein Paradies für alle, vor allem aber für Kinder und Hunde gab es jede Menge Verstecke zu entdecken und massenhaft Himbeeren zum Naschen. Zur Kletterpartie lädt der Spielplatz 2 Straßen weiter ein, der auch für kleinere Kinder geeignet ist. Und wenn man nicht selber kochen möchte, hat man eine gute Auswahl in der Umgebung. Wir selbst fanden die Pizzeria "Reichsadler" am besten, einfach lecker. Als Reiseziele empfehle ich auf jeden Fall wenigstens sich eines der schönen Schlösser anzusehen und dann auch gleich den Tegelberg mit einzubeziehen. Den Augsburger Zoo sowie den botanischen Garten mit eingebeteten japanischen Garten sollte man sich an und danach gemütlich am Kuhsee die Seele baumeln lassen. Und damit den Knirpsen nicht zu langweilig wird, sollte man sich ruhig den Skylinepark besuchen, der ist auch für Kinder ab 3 Jahre geeignet, da sie sehr viele Fahrgeschäfte und ein kleines Freizeitbad haben. Erwachsene kommen auch auf ihre Kosten^^ Wir kommen gerne wieder

What a beautiful home, relaxing and great for kids

This house is great for kids the garden is enormous there are lots of bikes and toys to keep kids entertained. The house was spotless with a lovely old world charm and very good quality. It was a good base for Landsberg, Munich and Augsberg. Quiet village and a car is a must.

Tolles Wochenende in schönem Domizil

Super Ausgangspunkt für unser Wochenende in Augsburg!! Wir(8 Mädels) haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt. Sowohl die komplette Ferienwohnung, als auch der große Garten ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll hergerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt :) Nur schade, dass das Wochenende viel zu schnell vorüber war!

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben Ende Mai für ein paar Tage in dieser Unterkunft übernachtet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail ist alles an seinem Platz. Ein Ferienhaus mit unendlich viel Charme! Der Garten ist ein Traum! 1 kleiner Minuspunkt: im Dachgeschoss waren leider die Jalousien kaputt. Auf jeden Fall ist das Ferienhaus weiter zu empfehlen. LOOK NO FURTHER!

I loved this home and I will tell you why. It has everything you need in the kitchen, it has loads of charm, it was quiet, and there was lots of room. The owner, Heike, is awesome and she was an immense help (we had a flat tire the first night we were there and she was amazingly helpful)! You have to visit her garden shop if you get time, it's AMAZING--it's like a secret garden of the most wonderful kind! There was plenty of space for our family of 5 (much more than we needed, we didn't use the bedroom on the top floor). The home has a cozy, warm feeling to it, and fantastic little treasures everywhere to look at. There are great day trips to jump off to from this point, and the town of Bobingen has all the necessities (big bakery, ice cream shop, grocery etc.). We really enjoyed the area, and in particular the warmth and hospitality of Heike--she made it a special visit!

Un très beau séjour !

La maison est très bien équipée et très propre. La décoration est de très bon goût. Le jardin fût un terrain de jeu idéal pour les enfants et la porte donnant directement sur la campagne bavaroise très pratique.
