Welcome to our holiday home, Hus Vena,
near Vimmerby.

This beautiful holiday home is located at the entrance to the small village of Vena in Småland.
The charm of the 1920s, when the house was built, has been fully preserved during the renovation work. It sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms and is equipped with a large kitchen, a living and dining room, a bathroom with a toilet, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer, Wi-Fi, and a sunroom with a dining area and a small lounge area. The garden is perfect for sunbathing. Here you’ll find patio furniture and a grill for a cosy barbecue.
The rooms are furnished in a “typically” Swedish, cosy style and offer guests every comfort.
The 17-square-meter sunroom is perfect for cosy get-togethers or relaxing. If it happens to rain, you can make yourself comfortable on one of the lounge chairs and perhaps read a book.

Vena is located between Hultsfred and Vimmerby—the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren. The house where Astrid Lindgren was born is now open to visitors. Take a journey through time and explore the key moments in this famous author’s life. At “Astrid Lindgren Värld,” you can meet Pippi Longstocking and many other beloved characters from her stories. Büllerby and Katthult Farm—where Emil from Lönneberga once lived—are also not far from the house. The small town of Hultsfred is about a 10-minute drive away. There you’ll find great recreational activities and shopping opportunities.
On the short route between Vena and Hultsfred, there’s also a beautiful, clear swimming lake with a sandy beach. The lake is particularly well-suited for children thanks to its gently sloping shore.
