I loved this property, very peaceful setting at the top of the community. Close enough for day trips to state parks and vineyards. Great for families. I highly recommend this location.
We had a great time at Granite Peak Vista. There was a peaceful rock garden where deer would come up to visit. The deck was the perfect place to end the day looking out over the lake. The beds were great. They had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
Had a great time. Very peaceful. The location is perfect and especially loved the wrap around porch. The view was great and was pretty cool at night, even in July. The deer were frequent guests is the yard and there was plenty of space for me and three kids. The Devil’s watering hole is about a 10 minute drive and is a nice place to spend a few hours.
The location was perfect for our groupOur wedding venue was about 20 minutes away.. staying close enough to the venue allowed for more time together and the Home had plenty of space for all of us to get ready. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Great views, but septic line to septic tank needs a makeover. Otherwise this is a terrific property for quiet reflection, bird and deer watching.

Hello Homer, thank you for sharing your experience with us; we appreciate your honest feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings; there’s nothing quite like relaxing with some bird and deer watching. I’m sorry to hear about the issues with the septic line. I regret that we didn’t fully meet your expectations this time. We’d love the opportunity to host you again and provide a much better experience in the future.

Gorgeous house and amazing views
We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside, but the decks and the lovely outside dining area were amazing. We heard all kinds of birds, watched the boats in the distance, and thoroughly relaxed.
We were able to take our canoe out to the boat ramp and paddle across the the state park. It was just serene.
This property sits on top of a granite hill overlooking Inks Lake. Because of where it is on the lake you have over 180 degrees of lake views with lots of natural light coming to the rooms. The house is very comfortable and clean. It is in a quiet subdivision on Inks Lake that is full of deer and friendly neighbors. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!
First, I have to say how nice the home was. It felt very cozy the moment you stepped in. The view is amazing! Enjoying your morning coffee outside on the balcony... it was really enjoyable. Thank you to the owners for leaving food for the deer. It was nature but with the comfort of a 5star hotel.

Hard Pass
I didn’t want to write a public review because I own an STR and I know what a bad review can do, but I’m extremely unhappy. There was nothing in that place. No coffee. No laundry detergent. I know it said there was no potable water, but it was still a bad experience using what was likely lake water for everything. I honestly would have given a 5 star review in spite of all that, but my daughter slept in the bed on the left upstairs and she was awakened to ants all over her. She has about 20 ant bites all over her body. Whoever owns that place should really consider spending just a little bit of money, honestly just time and thought, to make it more hospitable. We were price gouged for our one night for camp pickup and it was the worst STR experience of my life
