Disappointed

The place was very nice and it has a great location. We arrived on a hot day and there were no air conditioners in the place (it's a fifth floor apartment). The property manager arranged for two portable air conditioners to be wheeled to our front door but we were responsible for installing them. Not being from Europe and being unfamiliar with these units, we spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to get them running, how to rig up elastic bands to hold the windows shut, etc, so that the apartment was bearable to sleep in. It wasn't the end of the world, but we did not want to spend an hour on our only night in Como dealing with portable air conditioning units. The host responded to our what's app messages quite promptly, but in the end simply said we would have to figure out the air conditioners on our own and kind of left us hanging. This was disappointing, to say the least.
