Perfect for families with children or groups of friends and couples who want a little more space to themselves. Suitable for 2 to 5 people in a stylish and cosy palazzo with a fantastic location, garden, rooftop terrace, and a one-of-a-kind view.
The palazzo is located in the heart of a small, authentic medieval village where you can still experience a slice of genuine Italian life. The village is small, idyllic, and quiet, perched on a small hill that offers a magnificent panoramic view. From the garden and the balcony, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed and breathtaking panoramic view of the Marche countryside stretching all the way to the mountains. From the rooftop terrace, you can already catch a glimpse of the sea. Whether here or in the garden—you can enjoy the idyllic setting and tranquility while watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Or have breakfast on the balcony right outside the kitchen and enjoy the view and the warming sun.
The house is spacious without feeling too large. It is very cosily furnished and ideal for a two-week holiday—with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. It features a living room and a fireplace room. There’s a large grill in the garden.
The best part is that guests have the entire house to themselves, since we, the hosts Margitta and Reinhold, live in the neighbouring town but are immediately available if needed—for example, for questions or reservations. We’re happy to share insider tips. We lovingly restored the palazzo in 2013, blending modern features with its historic character. Modern features include, for example, our kitchen with induction cooktops and our cosy, warm underfloor heating. The historic elements include the well-preserved and stylish palazzo with its high walls, wall and ceiling paintings, beautifully restored stone floors, an old fireplace, and the typical old, dark wooden planks in the walls (which are characteristic of the Markina region). You’ll feel right at home in this house. We’ve been renting out the palazzo for two years now.
RESTAURANTS:
There are two restaurants within walking distance (15 to 30 minutes). By car, it’s about 1 to 2 minutes.
It’s a 3- to 5-minute drive to the slightly larger and equally beautiful medieval and historic town of Petritoli, where you’ll find more restaurants and shops.
If needed, you can also rent another small house owned by friends of ours—just a few houses down—or an apartment with a separate entrance. Just ask us about it.
ROOM LAYOUT: All rooms are spread across two floors and offer a magnificent view—with a garden, terrace, balcony, and rooftop terrace.
From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the typical Marche countryside, with the sea and the Sibillini Mountains of the Apennines on the horizon.
Underfloor heating throughout, beautiful fireplace room! Ideal for any season. Renovated in 2013 to German standards. Cool in summer and warm in winter.
The house is built on a slope and sits above the city wall.
On the GROUND FLOOR is the large, fully equipped kitchen with ceiling murals, a dining area, and a large table for 8 people. Next to it is a small bathroom with a toilet and the second balcony. From here, you can access the garden.
ON THE FIRST FLOOR you’ll find: The large LIVING ROOM, “Salotto Blu,” with ceiling and wall paintings, a large round writing and game table, and comfortable sofas. One sofa can also be used as a sleeper sofa.
From there, you enter the FIREPLACE ROOM with two armchairs and a loft area, where you can also sit comfortably, and access to the rooftop terrace. Branching off from the fireplace room are the two BEDROOMS: “Camera Matrimoniale” has a double bed, and the smaller “Camera Gialla” has two single beds, which can also be pushed together. Access to the bathroom with a shower is from the fireplace room.
A cot or high chair is available upon request.
You’ll share the garden with guests staying in the small apartment (with a separate entrance) if it is occupied. However, your apartment includes its own terrace in the garden.
From every floor, the rooftop terrace, the balcony, and the garden, you can enjoy panoramic views of the typical Marche landscape all the way to the Sibillini Mountains in the Apennines.
