1/10. I would not stay here again.The problems started before we even entered the apartment. Our check-in time came and went with no instructions. I messaged through VRBO and tried the provided contact numbers, but initially could not reach anyone who could help. I eventually reached the property management company myself, and they confirmed the check-in instructions had simply not been sent.Once inside, things got worse. The apartment had a noticeable musty, damp feeling. The daybed was heavily stained and actually wet to the touch. There were dead insects around the windows and blinds, visible dirt and grime, worn kitchen surfaces, and bathroom fixtures with noticeable gaps and unfinished-looking edges. The shower was also extremely cramped. The wifi is a 4g card and a hotspot. At that point, my wife and I did not feel comfortable staying there. We booked another accommodation at our own expense and left.To be fair, VRBO support was not very helpful initially, but after escalation they did eventually assist us. My bigger issue was with the property management company. I explained the condition of the apartment, asked to cancel, and told them we were leaving. Their response was essentially apologies, with no meaningful effort to resolve the situation or accommodate us.My experience was dramatically different from the very positive rating shown. I would strongly recommend future guests look carefully at recent feedback and photos before booking.
