This was the perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back! Girdwood is such a lovely area and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s close enough to Anchorage while also being super convenient to Whittier, which worked perfectly for our plans. We had a hike planned in Whittier and were heading to the Anchorage airport the following day, so Alpine Meadows was the perfect home base.The host was incredibly accommodating with both our check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The cabin itself was so cozy and had everything we needed—we even ended the night playing Monopoly! It was such a fun, relaxing stay.We only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back to Alpine Meadows for a longer stay next time!
